For those who think she's proclaiming how confident she feels, you miss, somehow, the point I believe. She's telling she's faking it, and mocking even the fact she's pretending (that's where resides her true confidence imo). Cause, devaluating yourself won't EVER lead you anywhere, whereas nobody's a stranger to a little despondency at times. By the confession is an attempt of support, to us receivers, and to herself as well, I suppose. There's strength in (avowing your) vulnerability 'cause it could make you try even harder in order to transcend it.
