I do care alot while talking to opposite gender. Only as much as it's required. But still my classmate said it's not permissible in Islam to even talk to na mehram. I was freaking worried last night and asked Allah to guide me and now I just scrolled youtube and out of no where this thumbnail appeared. I am very very much relaxed. I do exactly the same the way it's allowed. Thankyou so muchhh. JazakAllah.
Islam isn't that strict. You can talk to the na mehram but your thoughts should be positive. I have studied in a boys girl school and I was never close friends with the opposite gender. Yes, we use to talk and sometimes make jokes but we were like brothers and sisters. Well we were very young at that time not even teenagers so I think it isn't a sin.

As per a hadith~the prophet pbuh told the sahabas that Allah on the day of judgment will ask what were You doing when such and such happened, when evil happened in front of you why were you Silent? The sahabas got frozen with fear. And the prophet pbuh then told, whom Allah will bless would be able to say:'Ya rabb we had hope in you!' And they will be forgiven.

As a girl who studied in an all girls' school, I struggled so hard in a co-ed univeristy. It was a disaster for my emotional well being. It's unfortunate that I hadnt come across this type of information before starting university because this video pretty much sums up the conduct that a Muslimah has to uphold, not merely the physical hijab. Very comprehensive.
I hope we have single sex universities for our children so that a lot of emotional turmoil is avoided.

I came to Islam only 3 weeks ago. Doing whatever you want with no consequence isn’t all fun and games, because sooner or later you have to confront the mess you are making everywhere you go (if you have a conscience). Islam is portrayed to be extremely restrictive from the western perspective, but it is actually quite liberating when you know the truth of Islam. I have never felt so much peace and ease. 🙌🙌🙌

You should do whatever you must to keep Hijab from non mahrams. That includes men from all age groups. So yes your lower gaze but what is more important is to cover up. So make sure to cover too.

As a person living in the west, and having grown up here, I have had mostly female friends, but I have felt that even though we go to the same school, the same activities and so on, I have still gotten closer to Allah and become more religious as well as sought and gained knowledge about Islam that benefits me in many areas in my life.
I have one female friend at the moment, who i consider my sister and best friend, but I have never felt any desires towards her, or feelings or anything of the like. However, I still feel closer to Allah than ever before. Additionally, I haven’t gotten well along with males in my life, since here in the west, most of them are non religious and do things that are haram. Therefore keeping myself to one person (my female best friend) has actually kept me away from straying.
If I don’t have her, I have no friends, and that would make me lonely and depressed, as well as cause other mental issues. I find it rather strange that my only friend, who is a female and whom i have never felt anything towards, is someone who reminds me of Allah and has never ever made me stray. May Allah forgive me, but doesn’t this mean that she is meant for me as my best friend? That Allah has decreed that? Why would it be haram when it has gotten me closer to my Rabb, made me a better muslim (Allah knows best), does not interfere with my hifz or anything? Its just as good as it could ever be subhanAllah.

No, you shouldn't have female friends. Just as the video says and follow it. Trust me, Allah is better than them and what's more important to Allah? Good, you learn from them but Allah is the one who ultimately makes you closer to him and guiding you, not your friends. And he can make you learn and be closer to him by the help of anyone. It doesn't depend on your friends. Allah doesn't make it hard on anyone to be on the right path and Inshallah you will see that it's better for you to give up on your relationships with them and Inshallah it is easier on you. Remember, the end goal should be going to Jannah not having friends. Don't listen to Shatan. Inshallah Allah will forgive you for all your sins (not necessarily just this but all).

For the females there are many colleges dedicated to them, but for a male, there are no such things as a "Men's college". So, naturally Men are forced to study in Co-ed schools and universities.

I lowered my gaze once when buying cigarettes for my dad, at a gas station. And the gas station register lady thought I was underage to buy cigarettes, and I was 28 years old! Due to lowering my gaze she raised suspicion on me. Yes I look young for my age then and even now, but that's not why she suspected me. She suspected me due to not looking in her eyes when I talked to her for the transaction. And then she refused to sell me the cigarettes. Then I yelled at her told her I'm a 28 year old adult, she checked my drivers license AND called the owner of the shop in order to make a decision if she is to sell it to me or not.
After all that hassle she sold it to me.
Also my parents wanted to keep legal guardianship on me and I am an adult, because I was affected by magic and parents also messed my life up by putting me on psych drugs before which I didn't need and harmed me for years (my parents didn't believe about the jinn and black magic due to them being affected by magic, and I was, but I was the victim of the psychiatric hospitals/doctors due to my parents' ignorance for years). When I went to court to fight against the legal guardianship, my sister lied in court made up some mumbo jumbo to keep the guardianship saying to the judge "He believes he is God's chosen one, which is impossible, and he believes he can talk to a girl once and get married." And then the judge petitioned me to mental hospital. From then, I realized where there is no shariah legislation, Allah's legislation/socio-political-economic-system, there is no Islam.
And I swear by Allah this is true. Where there is no shariah law, there is no Islam. Islam is a collective religion, not just an individual way of life, which the corrupt scholars of today have sold their souls for money to the West and Dajjal and munafiq Muslim leaders to mislead the ummah today.
Jihad fi sabilillah is compulsory for the Muslims. It is farz. It's in the Quran that it's farz to establish Shariah legislation. Anywhere and everywhere. You start the fight with words/wisdom, and if the govt of the land doesnt agree you then you must fight with the sword as an group/army. These days isntead of swords gu n weapo nry ammo weaponry are used for wa r.
You cannot talk to a woman and lower your gaze these days. Also, you cannot marry a woman without befriending her these days.
The culture is messed up now. Muslims these days majority of them are munafiq. They don't want Allah's legislations nor marry the proper way. So the parents give off their daughters to college and want to marry their daughters after they finish college. This is not the way of Islam. In Islam you marry as early as possible and college is not an acceptable excuse to refrain from or delay marriage, for women and men. Men must make money from teenage years. Women too if they want. However, marriage is supposed to not be dependent on college finishing.
We are fd up now. If we are not willing to change the govt, then we are not obeying/submitting to Allah in any aspect of the word obedience and submission anyway regardless. Lowering gaze, sexual norms/regulations/morals, all this is impossible without Shariah law. Even getting married these days in the same country you're in is almost impossible without a miracle.
Why are Muslims going to overseas to get married? Even that is haram. Because ur leaving all the Muslims/Muslimas in the country you live in to all the way across the globe to get married?? That's insane. Majority of the ummah have nomore common sense.
EVEN COMMON SENSE is rare these days.
WE ARE IN THE END DAYS.
If you lower your gaze now, the police may try to arrest you due to misunderstanding and suspicion you are bound to receive, you may be called not just a "joker" as the sheikh in this video said, but also a lunatic, crazy, mentally ill and they very well might attempt to send you to a mental hospital.
Islam is gone. Muslims (munafiq, the majority of today's Muslims are in reality.. may Allah guide all of them) of today think they are following Islam. Not even close.
I think as long as you have self control (lower gaze, don't think dirty thoughts), it shouldn't be a problem. Our culture is different now. In America, it's weird if a guy ignores girls. Also, how are we supposed to even find a wife if we can't talk to the opposite sex?
Why would you ignore girl if she approaches you, respect her and know what she wants from you if she needs help, help her with your best. But don't break the rules. That's not a religious thing. It is logical also. If you have no plan for marriage don't give a girl hope and there is no point of empty dating
