Even with 1 elite prisma tank is enough to destroy a base, if there is many units helping the laser shot split, you can destroy important buildings in 2 shots.
This is more accurate alright as both units are at their full potential....and the real dangers are there too. Though I still wonder why the "victim units" also gain promotion along with the Prism and Apocalypse tanks. Shows power differences from promotion less that way than letting them attack rookie Rhino tanks for example.

yes, i listen :) so basically when kiting Apocalypse you need to change direction a lot(big help if there are buldings, trees etc.), never kite in a stright line cause Apoca will always cath up
Well, the Prism tank is also an artillery unit. I suspect this is why the relationship between the Grizzly and Light Tank in RA2 was canned - unlike in RA1, where the Medium and Heavy Tank had the same health, but the Medium had more speed and range on its gun and the Heavy had more firepower (though their guns had the same statline - the Heavy just had two of them)
Prism Tanks are just ridiculous. So insanely powerful in groups.. You can just roll on from one base to the next, obliterating everything.. (well, everything except walls).

maybe 1 vs 1 prism is not as strong as apocalypse but when a large group of 30 elite prism tanks or more they will kill everything that can reach them
