I just have to tell this story. My mother was an elementary school teacher at the high school I went to, she told me that one of the classes started calling the new black student “little brown baby” because they had never seen a black person before. It wasn’t even malicious. They had to take all the white kids aside and educate them on the existence of black people. I died laughing. Yes, people with disabilities and different abilities SHOULD NOT BE UNDERESTIMATED but the truth of the matter is, SOMETIMES IT REALLY IS INSPIRING to see someone make it through life despite unusual challenges 🤷🏾♀️ It's inspiring because some people give up in the face of difficulty/challenge 🤷🏾♀️...those who don't give up inspire others to try more.

I’m so sorry for the way you are treated. That is not fair. There is nothing wrong with living with disabilities or being different and people need to learn how to show empathy and compassion for others. I’m not disabled, but I am in recovery from addiction and understand how it feels to be treated differently. It definitely doesn’t feel good 😞 I’m a counselor now and do a lot of work on personal empowerment-especially with women who are survivors of SA or DV. Geniunely I’m so sorry for the little people that get treated like “freaks.” It’s so heartbreaking. Ik it’s supposed to be funny and making fun of their oppression by flipping it on it’s head but genuinely when you unflip it’s heart breaking
Yup. This video is entertaining, but it's also clear that the reverse of these lines are things they've heard before. This is why it's so crucial for kids to learn about and meet all sorts of people in this world--to protect them from notions that people are "supposed" to be a certain way, and to reaffirm that difference is good, and that differences among individuals make a group stronger. CZcams/the internet is a great tool for that, or at least in the case of this channel.
This might be one of my favorite little videos I've ever seen. Short, but extremely meaningful. THIS is how a person inspires change in others. When hearing a story, people naturally put themselves in the shoes of the individual which they identify the most with. This is exactly why that one funny story you told your parent when you were younger did not come across as such to them - they immediately identified with the teacher / adult in the story .. not you / your buddies. Way to get others to step into someone else's shoes without even intending to / really knowing it. That's awesome.
"What an inspiration." Funny in this context, but literally sad knowing this is how some people view our smaller population. I'm so grateful you are bringing awareness to this.
This is a wonderful empathy builder. Incidentally, my oldest son is so tall and thin that some people presume he has Marfans Syndrome even though he doesn't. Well, his best friend in elementary school was a dwarf, and his friend's dad asked me and my son to walk him home one night. They were scared of the dark, so I encouraged them to pretend that they were giants as tall as their shadows. A few days later my son forlornly informed me that his friend's dad was mad at me for having his son pretend that giants exist!?! I'm sure I unintentionally mucked something up in their household, but I didn't need my son's friend's dad mucking up my child either, so I just explained gigantism, showed my son pictures of some famous giants, and told him that "whoever" told him that giants don't exist would fail a college level anatomy and physiology class. My son was ecstatic for the rest of the day.

Love this point of view wow this even opened my eyes I would never talk about someone like that. But maybe there were times in my life where I have said things about people that were inappropriate and I feel ashamed, and I would just like to apologize now and promise that I’m gonna do better to behave in the future.
I was reading some of the comments and I don’t think some understood the meaning of your video, but I did. At least I think I did. Well done. Praying the insensitive will change their hearts and minds towards those who are born beautifully different. We’re all human and deserving of respect and not instant judgement and cruelty.
My mom teases me about my height 'cause I'm she is around 5' & I'm somewhere between 5'7" & 5'8" depending on if my spine is aligned. "I would hate for you to go back to the circus" NAHHHH 💀💀💀💀
When things are turned like this, it's sometimes the only time that some people see just how ridiculous they are in their prejudices.
Great upload!
“I wonder if he knows Karen?”🤣
“I bet he does!”🤣
“You’re such an inspiration!”🤣🤣
Your brother definitely used this as an excuse to bully you in front of your mom and get away with it 😂 the Jack and the Giant Freakstock comment was too much!
It's sweet and silly how he shows his love to his baby brother 💖🥰
That took me all the way out! 🤣🤣 that joke was smooth.
Lowkey gives you a really good idea of what other people go through.
“Are u measuring me?” Got me dead😂😂😂
“Jack and the giant freakstock” is a genius line
'I've never seen a giant before' 'me neither.' with the whispering 😂😂😂☠️☠️
But later he went to school with Karen?
As a person living with disabilities and needing an assistance dog, Thank you so much for making this. I'm treated like a freak show.
This video is amazing. I'm saving it.
*hugs*
I’m so sorry for the way you are treated. That is not fair. There is nothing wrong with living with disabilities or being different and people need to learn how to show empathy and compassion for others. I’m not disabled, but I am in recovery from addiction and understand how it feels to be treated differently. It definitely doesn’t feel good 😞 I’m a counselor now and do a lot of work on personal empowerment-especially with women who are survivors of SA or DV. I just feel like if we all could learn to treat one another with dignity and kindness, the world would become a much better place. 🩷 Take care and I hope you are able to get your support dog soon!
I'm disabled too and I know that feeling, I wish you the best in getting an assistance dog ❤️
hope everyone doing good and staying safe. If you need to talk to someone or need help, there are people who care. Sending support and hearts. ❤❤❤
Thatwas great,i really love your family,so relatable and normal!
Your mom could literally act in movies or theater. She is that good! You do a pretty good job yourself!
could u imagine a world like this haha
You basically just have to think opisite😂😂
Bro I hope the world never ends up like this 😂
Bro my brother is already small 😂
Oh goodness then I’d be in a circus 😂
Sadly, the world is already like this towards minorities...
This needs be a new series. It’s genius.
"what an inspiration"
Some of us know that phrase all too well!
I LOVE this role- reversal with your mom! It shows what she's probably dealt with her whole life
The "diversity quota" part killed me 😂😂
omg same, I was looking for this comment😂😂😂😂
It's a good thing the house had Giant sized doors to make it easier to accommodate Giants. How thoughtful! :)
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great point! 😊
It's due to the Disability Act. In this alternate universe, the ADA requires new constructions to include not only wheelchair access, but also giant access.
and I love how it was like I wouldn’t want u to go back to the circus, this made me laugh a lot ur rlly funny😂
The way you used air quotes on the word normal is really great and I’m very upset that not many people are talking about it. Thank you for reminding me that there is no such thing as normal
Peet: “Are you measuring me?” Mom: [casually rolls up tape measure]
"That's not a thing" 😂 Peet you did so well with all the facial expressions.
That cut at the end was literally the most hilarious thing ever! I don’t usually laugh at videos, but I started laughing like a crazy person at 7 in the morning!
this is pretty funny but also, this is exactly what they go through on a daily basis. People stare, people point, and they’re just human beings. This was really well thought out and done, kudos to you guys!
Great video. I do see giants in some TV shows, so I know they exist! 😊
Yeah it's sad how stupid normies are
I would watch multiple seasons of this, please give us more
Love this mother and son, they make a goog team. Mother is beautiful.
"" loved when she said, "" what an inspiration ""😂😂😂😂😂
Too cute. "What an inspiration." How sweet
I like the pun 😂
"What an inspiration." Funny in this context, but literally sad knowing this is how some people view our smaller population. I'm so grateful you are bringing awareness to this.
I LOVE THIS!!! It needs to be a whole series. 😂
"I would hate for you to have to go back to the circus" is probably something every mother wants to say to her children lmao
Your Mom is truly one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Beautiful and delightful. ❤
Why is whispering so satisfying?
Acting skills are great Mom❤ you need you a tv show featuring your kids yall are hilarious and a joy to watch yall really should be internationally known. Peete Amazing voice hope you fullfil all your dreams🙏🏽💖
Love this point of view wow this even opened my eyes I would never talk about someone like that. But maybe there were times in my life where I have said things about people that were inappropriate and I feel ashamed, and I would just like to apologize now and promise that I’m gonna do better to behave in the future.
"Jack and the Giant Freakstalk" 😂😂😂
The whispering is so relaxing 🤩❤️☺️
Your mom is honestly such a good actress! 😂
The "what an inspiration" was ON. POINT.
I was reading some of the comments and I don’t think some understood the meaning of your video, but I did. At least I think I did.
Well done. Praying the insensitive will change their hearts and minds towards those who are born beautifully different. We’re all human and deserving of respect and not instant judgement and cruelty.
The whole short👏👏👏👏👏thanks for the awareness of loving the others as ourselves
“I would really hate for you to have to go back to the circus”
Dark humor at its finest
As a 5'9 male, I'd love to be called a giant.
My mom teases me about my height 'cause I'm she is around 5' & I'm somewhere between 5'7" & 5'8" depending on if my spine is aligned. I'm taller than most of the people I hang out with & idk how that happen but I really enjoy being "tall". Would have really enjoyed being taller though-- but, genetics.
I'm not a giant, honest! I am only 76.75 inches tall! 😂
OmGOSH!!! this is one of my new favorites, Pete and Mama! The best!❤
