This is my new machine to replace the WM65 which is for sale for £70. It has had new drum bearings, lime scale removed and a cleaned up door seal and drawer housing. Bought it for 60.
cool, my grandma used to have wma60 and nana used to have a wma10 actually! family friends used to have a wma40 and wma30 and we nearly got few12! all these machines are broken- apart from the wma40 last time i was there it was still going
Janak Surange still going strong 💪🏼 not used it in nearly two years though cause I moved house and have no plumbing for it. One day I'll get it back in action but in perfect condition still
ilovemiele1 Nice to hear about it I got a Hotpoint WMA63P and the bearings are going on it but when my room plumbing gets done I will replace it with either a Hotpoint WMM75A or a Hotpoint WMA76S as I like the funky doors on the WMA50/70 and it comes in different colours to look stylish / pretty
Janak Surange which model? Do love wma style machines all the way up to the wmd/wml with the wma style drums. Darren's got a really nice example of a wmd960 in black
no its not broken it only does it on cottons and without timesaver if you select timesaver then it doesint, have you seen a hotpoint wma30 on a cottons cycle before?
Does selecting the different wash temperatures change the way machine fills up with hot water? Will it always fills up all the way with hot water line regardless of what temperature being selected?
Was Time Saver enabled on this cycle? Because I used to own a WMA64, and on Cottons 60 it would ramp up to 1300rpm, slow down and then do about 1m 30s at 1400, however in this video it shows the standard Cottons 40 spin sequence of doing only 10 seconds at 1400rpm. Interesting....
Sorry my mistake, saw at the start of the wash Time Saver is enabled. :) Well done for keeping this machine in good condition though, brought all those memories flooding back, mine was a Zircon Silver one though, but I wish I had the Natural Linen :) thank you!
Vicky N all washing machine descalrr is useless. Aslong as you use powder then that'll be fine but in soft water area you don't really need anything. All of the limescale removers are useless and I reccomend you just boilwash your machine with a dishwasher tablet or two now and again
Naman Sharma ideally you should separate by thickness but I just put my dryer on for a long time so that the biggest thing drys too. So usually on a vented dryer I use 60-70 mins and for a condenser dryer I usually use 90-100 mins
i dont know to be honest i suspect because at the time the motors werent really as powerful as they are these days so maybe it would have overheated had it been any longer.
that's funny you should say that because on my grandmas hotpoint wma34 it did dint do powerstreams on boil prog (B) and i thought it was broken but you saying that then its not.
i thought there was hardly any left until i started working at a washing machine refurbishment place, they are our most common machine!!:P
My sisters nan has this in graphite very good machine the results are excellent :)
omg these are just too perfect gotta get one

yes, i can't believe the wma Hotpoint are still popular these days.
nice powerstream phases during the main wash :)
powerstream was such a good idea
mines never done that, but a wma58 at work has, good idea really
you paid 60 squid for it and look what you had to do to it!
I love these, will get mine out soon
i didnt use too much, it was the amount i always use thank you.
Recently reprogrammed my wma64s it has the same programming as this
this is better by far. anyway whats the point having the wm65 when ive got a 95490? exactly the same underneath.
nice spins
on my grandmas Hotpoint wma30 it does power streams in the second rinse.
yes and funny enough one of my aunties has got a Hotpoint wma... a bit like marthalover4evers old one but a 1300rpm :D but i don't see them much
dont know its loads of individual videos that i jammed together with youtube video editor so i left it overnight
god i dont know, probably bold lavendar as thats what we usually have and maybe the blue comfort or lenor?
Nice machine and nice powerstream wash action and nice video. Love these Hotpoint WMA's is it still going and in action?
Janak Surange still going strong 💪🏼 not used it in nearly two years though cause I moved house and have no plumbing for it. One day I'll get it back in action but in perfect condition still

Janak Surange id love a wmm39 and the matching vented dryer cause personally I prefer these doors but love the dull silver they came in 👌🏼
ilovemiele1 Yes I do indeed love the WMA/WMM/WF/WT/WD/WML/WMF/WMD models. The only model in black was the WMD940. I also love the WM60/WM70s aswell.
also on the wma30 if its to unbalanced to do a powerstream then it stops and tumbles anti-clockwise for a long time.
how many washers do you fix a day?
some time between 2000 and 2004, i suspect 2002ish though
yes my friend had one they only ever used cottons 40 + 60 timesaver and it always did ps my hp never did ps on boil or fast
Ok, thanks
no its not broken it only does it on cottons and without timesaver if you select timesaver then it doesint, have you seen a hotpoint wma30 on a cottons cycle before?
Does selecting the different wash temperatures change the way machine fills up with hot water? Will it always fills up all the way with hot water line regardless of what temperature being selected?
Yes hot temperature is 95 degrees and doing cooling down and fill up water before inter spin
I'm getting the zircon silver version of this!
Washer guy 2002 no one cares bout your stupid wma64
when im at work usually about 3, one day i got up to 7, some days i get 2 if im like really tired and drained lol

Hello George,What detergenet and softener did you use? Nice machine and video!
What limescale remover do you use? I use Indesit/hotpoint, is that good for my machine even though I live in soft water area?
I preferably would use calgon
Vicky N all washing machine descalrr is useless. Aslong as you use powder then that'll be fine but in soft water area you don't really need anything. All of the limescale removers are useless and I reccomend you just boilwash your machine with a dishwasher tablet or two now and again
Mine went off in a few vids too lol
Cool
My WT960 powerstreams on the rinse
Mine does it on Fastwash 30'
When its made?
i know i cant believe they ever stopped it! not like there was a reason for stopping it!
one grandma has a wma30 one has a wma34?:P

Is it the next one up WMA65/66 that's has the chrome buttons?
glenfieldmathk1 The WMA64 in Polar White does have chrome buttons but this WMA64 doesn't have chrome buttons as it is in Natural Linen

Hi when I use dryer my some clothes wet some dry before the use I always clen please can you tell me why
How long do you put it on for because I reccomend for a vented around: 80-90 mins. But for a condenser: 120-130mins
Naman Sharma ideally you should separate by thickness but I just put my dryer on for a long time so that the biggest thing drys too. So usually on a vented dryer I use 60-70 mins and for a condenser dryer I usually use 90-100 mins
@@ilovemiele1 the matching dryers are the hotpoint tdc62 hotpoint tdl62
cant believe you are getting rid of the wm65 for this :(
what was that buzz at 10:29?

11:22 22:51 25:46
only final rinse
how come at the end where it reaches 1400 why does it only stay on 1400 for 10 seconds then stop please explain
i dont know to be honest i suspect because at the time the motors werent really as powerful as they are these days so maybe it would have overheated had it been any longer.

Blerta Koka
On the Cottons 60 program the spin would be extended so it would spin for about 2-3mins at top speed. This didnt do it because he selected time saver.
Karl Smith q1127
no seeing as this is wma64 and 1400rpm lol:P
that's funny you should say that because on my grandmas hotpoint wma34 it did dint do powerstreams on boil prog (B) and i thought it was broken but you saying that then its not.
