      Philip Nelson i think you should try posting your video with fluency. Its for the students, people who cant talk in English fluently. May be they are not from English medium. You should probably watch foreigners but indians then. Don’t discourage people who want to learn something.

      Generation, now you want to talk about generation huh why do u come to us asking us for helping u on the phones then expect us to get high marks and not let us chase our dreams

      You wanna talk about generation huh? How much time did it take you to prepare this speech tell me. Your generation pressurises this generation Idek if you know the meaning of generation! You people don’t let us chase our dreams and when we get 75% you beat the shit out of us! This generation has potential to do other things like music dance acting or even what we like to do but nahi Sharma ji ka beta to engineer hai tujhe bhi ban na padega,who gives a shit about sharma ji ka beta haan apne dreams follow karo!we can create innovate and be creative and this generation can contribute! In literature we need to speak good English not sabji mandi bazaar like this ‘speaking the English language’

    This is a great video. i tell you what, learning English is taken too lightly in my opinion, by international professionals and students alike! I just think the main problem with many new learners comes down to mindset: why not just enjoy the process rather than focus on an every changing goal? I'm 1 month into a diet regime and when I first started I said to myself ''in two weeks, I'm going to lose 12 pounds and that will be that'', but now I'm a month in I've lost more than that and I'm just enjoying the process of improvement. I think improving your English language should be the same. Stop focusing on the 'end result'- just enjoy the process. Peter.

As i am also an English speaking tutor and while i was showing this video to my students, i thought of giving you this feed back. Hope you take this in a positive way.

    @c.d.9035 Před 7 lety +49

    Whaaaat????? I'm a native speaker and can barely understand what she's talking about. Geez, no wonder I don't understand what all those telemarketers from Indian call centers are trying to get me to do!
    Here's what I hear between 6:36 and 7:12:
    "One more that how I need to introduce you and that is a talking to the children. Yes. Every of you must be having the children around you. If you are billing the adva English of speaking and you are to having them around you good at their basic English speaking, do speak with them because they are not going to pinch you out about the mistakes you've counted, or they are not going to let you down if you do something drong. All right? It is going to increase your confident, and definitely you will be improving your English language in a butter manner they write dick."
    Which makes about zero sense.

    • @SteveSunny
      @SteveSunny Před 7 lety +2

      Maybe you don't understand Indian accents but I have to say that it really is not that hard to guess what word they meant based on context clues. For example, in the last sentence we can hear her saying "dick" by "dick" (according to your interpretation). Based on the context clues presented throughout this video and in the sentence itself, we can assume that she actually meant "day by day". It really is not that hard.

    • @c.d.9035
      @c.d.9035 Před 7 lety

      Okay, so, first line: "Have you ever tried to figure it out that if you are good at reading, writing and listening English, well, so why can't you speak English ready and confident?"
      I'm pretty sure this actually means, "Give me your credit card number or I will send a hit man." Because context clues.

    • @SteveSunny
      @SteveSunny Před 7 lety

      Although her grammar is pretty horrible and her speech is filled with run on sentences, that doesn't mean that it is impossible to understand them. I am a native speaker too and I found this to be really quite easy to understand. I'm just going to chalk it down to your inability to understand Indian accents as to why you cannot understand her.

    • @c.d.9035
      @c.d.9035 Před 7 lety +2

      Dude, chill out. All I'm saying is that someone with horrible grammar who repeatedly accents the wrong syllable and makes problematic word choices is not the best English teacher around.

    • @SteveSunny
      @SteveSunny Před 7 lety +3

      Ah I see. I was just trying to prove that you can understand her that's all. I agree that she isn't really the best English teacher around too.

I've met some people who I couldn't understand a word, the fact that she is conveying exactly what she wants to say and I, a native English speaker who has a hard time understanding people with accents, can understand, that's quite a feat. Even though it's my native language, I know how hard English is because I have younger brothers and cousins and I've seen them grow up and learn English from square one.

    Very practical methods... Good... By her speaking i can conclude that she was a Hindi speaker before and with her determination she has reached till here where she is using variety of vacabulary and striving to speak in English continuously... This is called dedication! Ppl who are only listening to her pronounciation have good hearing skils but are blind and retarded. Not many will share their method of learning English. But this girl is so helpful that she is sharing her secret. And yes, I will prefer a teacher using hand gestures to explain because it gives me a feeling that she is trying hard to make the message clear to us. Rather than those robotic teachers who stand and deliver long speeches with a poker face.... I have seen her grammar videos and no one else can simplify it as much as she does... Thanks Ma'am.... You are great!
