How To Get Your Big Baby or Toddler (6-18 months) on your back in your Ergobaby Omni Carrier: the 30-second real-time demo edition!
I know everyone loves a speedy Reel, but it's kinda helpful to see the genuine version too đ
This 'contained' hips scoot method works well for big babies and smaller toddlers who aren't yet ready for the Climb On Your Back and Hold On technique ;)
This will take PRACTICE, ideally over a BED OR SOFA until you get more confident.
Same technique works with most standard buckled baby carriers (Manduca XT, Tula,Becos, Bobas, Lillebabies etc) but NOT BabyBjörns.

How old does she need to be before doing this?
At least 6 months
The babies arms are supposed to be over the straps according to the manual
They can, and often will (esp older toddlers), but its absolutely optional and both arms 'in' and 'out' are perfectly safe.
@@hannahwallace8188thanks! It took me so many tries for me to feel comfortable with arms out but arms in wasnât working he is too tall I think .
What is the best position for childâs hips for a older toddler who doesnât face inward from front anymore. I only used the back carrying because I had to go through airport carrying multiple things and a dog but I didnât like that. I couldnât see him . Is the side hip carry ok
