Girl, I live in north Mississippi and was in DT yesterday. I saw the little face roller/massager you reviewed in a previous video. Actually, I remember reusable water bottles like that. I had gotten them at a dollar store, and then had gone back and gotten them for practically everyone that I knew. They were great
If you want your lettuce to last 3 weeks, start wrapping it in aluminum foil with the shiny side out.
This makes all my greens last longer in the frig drawer.
Including cabbage.

I bought three of the flat vases from my friend’s kid’s school, years ago. They are handy.
Another hack you can use for hanging your clothes is by using pull tabs from soda cans. I found that Coke & Pepsi tabs work the best. You take one end of the tab, tread it through the hanger and use the other open end to put another hanger through. You will save on closet space I discovered that floating around the internet & thought it was genius.

My mum used a net to dry our school jumpers during in winter because they were hand knitted in wool. We grew up in Sydney so wintertime sucked. She used to hand wash them too, she didn't machine wash them.
I always keep a stash of clothes pins in my junk drawer so it's handy whenever I need a clip. And they're cheap!

I do the same thing for the same reason.
I use the craft clips from Dollar Tree. 6 for $1.25 and they clip better than clothes pins.

I use clothespins for so many things , they are fantastic. You can also use then to dry the socks on a hanger ( or anything small) I also use the binder clips too very handy

I love the folding vases. That's perfect for taking flowers to someone in the hospital or rehab center!! I love the sweater dryers. Hang it on your shower rod! No, your clothes don't smell after. But mine is a big square on pvc legs that sits on the floor or in the tub (if your sweater is super wet). Love it. $2,69 for lettuce? That's CHEAP! It's $2.99 where I live for crappy iceberg , non organic! And you don't need that lettuce thingy. When you get iceberg, take it out of the wrapper, and slam the stem of your lettuce on your counter. It will crack. Take the stem OUT! Then you can either wrap your lettuce in foil or put it in a free produce bag from your grocery store.

You'd be surprised how long lettuce lasts putting lettuce that's cut or torn up in water in the fridge. I used to work in a restaurant and doing that kept the lettuce fresh for quite awhile. I don't remember how long (and I haven't bought lettuce in a long time) but I do this when I do buy lettuce.
You can revive celery by letting it sit in cold water.
I have also wanted to know How restaurants keep their lettuce crisp! Thanks!!!

I put a wet paper towel in a produce bag that has holes in it. Lasts us well over a month!
That sweater net would be great for making sun dried tomatoes. Just hang it out on the clothes line. It gets air to all of the surfaces. Dang I wish I had the dollar store around me I’d pick up several. I’m going to have an abundance of cherry tomatoes this coming season. Probably need some kind of netting for the top to keep the insects off the top.

I'm totally getting the shoe stacker!! We love you Vivian! :) To dry the sweaters I like to wash in the machine (I don't care if it says hand wash only!) then while stuff is in the dryer, lay the sweater on top of the warm dryer - gets it dome fast.

@@martidutton8342 I was not able to find that shoe stacker. I have purchased shoe stackers before, but they were a different type and caught much dust, and my boyfriend, who I'd bought them for, didn't use them. These white ones though are sloped, and look far easier to organize and will catch less dust which is why I want some.
The hanger 'thingy' is cool, but I personally remove the pop top off soda cans.....works the same and is basically free! Bonus...it freaks my husband out when all the cans are missing their pop tops!

Hate to tell you but the plastic bag vases have been in Dollar Tree. Years ago I bought several packs of them, 2 per pack. They are great because you can share flowers with others and they can have the plastic bag vase or toss it when done. They are a great idea. Also, the clothes drying rack can be purchased with 3 rectangles and is much better for your sweaters. Less likely to pill, shrink and lose their shape. If you pay $10 for a sweater it’s still worth taking care of. They don’t mildew. There’s enough airflow to allow them to breathe and dry.
Diaso YEEES!!! I am an expat living in Europe. I come to the US with empty bags and go straight to Dollar Tree, 99cents everything, TJMaxx, Ross, Marshalls, Homegoods, Costco and Walmart. We just got back from South Korea where we found Daiso. OMG!!! the quality!. We bought so much. Their Scotch tape extra wide is 90meters!!! for $1.75 say what! Now that I know they are in the US, guess where this girl is going first. They had wooden plates for $2.50 a peicd. They are like $10 a TJ. Just found you, love you for sure!

I got good info about the new laundry booster in dollar tree from The deal guy here on yt. The new booster is actually downy unstoppable misshaped rejects you just have to look at color to see what scent your getting 💕

Those bag sealers are neat. I ordered some a few years ago online and got several different sizes & use them for all my bagged items once opened :) I use one of 2 tricks I've learned about keeping lettuce fresh longer: wash & pull apart & store in a bowl of water in the fridge or wrap in aluminum foil(also works for celery) :)

99 cent lettuce is a thing of the past. I work in Food Distribution, and there is currently issues with most types of lettuce because of weather in the growing regions. Heads are smaller and the price has doubled. Bought a couple of heads from Aldi within the last week, and 1 was barely enough for two large side salads to go with dinner. Price: $1.79 each. Did I mention I got these from Aldi? Walmart has been this way at least for the last year.
That hanging drying rack would be *perfect* for doing tie dye!

I have one under my sink from about 10 years ago. I forget it’s there and I don’t think I’ve ever used it. But Vivian makes everything look so fun I’ll have to dig it out.
I’d use the hanging sweater net as a bird feeder! Hang it outside on your clothesline and spread a cupful of birdseed on it. Water would drain through it and the shells would sift out!
Japan tends not to use dryers at all and everyone hangs their laundry to dry so the sweater net is very practical there. I wish we had Daiso in NC!
I moved from California to North Carolina five years ago and I really miss Daiso and the 99 cent store!
I have a different version of the chip bag slider that has a handle build in and I love them. I have used them for years and have given them as gifts as well. I got such a kick out of your demonstration. I am so glad I found you and love your videos!

Hi there! LOVE the fold-able plastic vases....We bought some fold-able plastic mason jars from Amazon, a couple of years ago....they sit up, when full, and come in many sizes.

The really soft material on the bottom of the feet like covers for the chairs is felt. They put the belt on the bottom, so the chair could easily slide very soft and easily. And doesn't scratch or damage. The floor felt as felt as awesome as you could. Put felt on the bottom of anything if you don't want it to scratch up anythanks I put it on the needs. My appliances sometimes are something, so it doesn't scratch up my countertops. It's convenient to use for a lot of different things and they so the felt in the stores just by itself

I am old fashioned, I used clothes pins to close bags. Frozen vegetables in the freezer too. Simple clothes pins.

for sweaters or shirts i don’t wanna hang/bras/etc i just keep some hangers in the laundry room. once they’re washed and out of the washer, i hang them to dry in the laundry room to dry with the heat of the dryer! usually by the end of the drying cycle(s) they’re dry!
The slide zippers are amazing. We use the big ones in my house for everything you want to seal. I even use it on my dog food bag when I don't feel like putting it out in the storage containers. I buy my from Walmart though. You get 24 for $15 all sizes.
On some bags works if you cut a plastic straw lengthwise.

My Mom used to take extras of those little plastic bags on a roll from the produce section. When She opened the cheap lettuce
She likes she would put it in that bag. Twist the top and close it with Her saved plastic bread clips. Lettuce was fresh for a good while. I still do this today. RIP Mom!

Put your sweater over the entire netting hanger with only the hook showing out of the neck of the sweater. It'll open your sweater up and dry sooo much quicker 😊

Yes around 5 years ago I also bought the foldable vace, it was for Valentine's. I still have it it's super cute. And those Diso stores are amazing. Everything they have is so practical you don't know you need it till you see it 😁

I have never put sweaters in the dryer. I take a dry towel and lay my sweaters on it and then lay them down on a flat surface and shape the sweater so it’s nice and flat. Depending on the weight of the sweater, they normally dry overnight and they keep their shape. Also, most of my other clothes ( except for socks/ underwear) I dry just enough to get the excess water out and then hang them up to dry. I usually spray them with Downy Wrinkle Release and then they dry mostly wrinkle free. I don’t know if this sounds stupid, but this was always how my mom did her laundry. I have never heard of this store before, but would love to shop there.

To really keep things fresh, I use inexpensive zip-lock bags of different sizes and put the whole box or bag inside of it. For things like crackers, I remove the inner paper bag from the box and cut out the label from the box, and maybe "expiration date" or calories, etc.

We grew up wearing Wool Sweaters. We had to block them on a towel , to absorb water. Then take away the soggy towel. That sweater Gizmo would work wonders to air dry the rest of the way✅.
