Glen Campbell was 1 of the best musicians this country has ever produced 👏👏👏
Damn. Superb performance. Singing perfect. Both guitar part perfect. 😎
Lovely sustain and tone - oh yeah, and performance too!
IMHO Tas blackwood is the best tonewood in the world- stunning sounding guitars
Beautiful rendition - played on beautiful guitars!! (along w/couple other Jimmy Webb tunes, it's on my "desert-island disc"!)
Absolutely utstandinding playing, arrangement.instrunents and vocal performance. Would add, that it's Jimmy Webb's "Wichita Lineman", originally and most famously, recorded by Glnn Cambell, with backing by Carol Kaye and others of the Wrecking Crew.
Outstanding
I love how the 'need' line references immediacy and the 'want' that follows his whole existence.
Absolutely love Ausie Blackwood….waiting for one from Guild…cort core series is also unbelievable for under $1000
BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO | YOU GUYS KNOCKED THAT RIGHT OUT'A THE FUCKING PARK..! - AWESOME...
Simply beautiful... the guitars, the singer/players and the song - heart warming :)
Not a wasted word to convey so much ...
What a wee gem of a song, brilliantly arranged, sung and accompanied by 2 wonderfully sounding guitars!!!!
Late to the party on this to be sure, but I'd love to see this arrangement annotated. Stunning.
Beautifully done, such a wonderful version of this classic song! You both really brought your own stylistic approach and made it your own!!
Awesome job men
Simplistic heartfelt divine lyrics ✨️
Wow. What a voice. Just incredible and beautiful and haunting.
Great cover!!! AND it was WRITTEN by the great Jimmy Webb, and he should get the credit!!
Beautiful guitars, great singer, great support guitarist, and great choice of song.
Nicely done and the Lowdens sound fantastic ..great guitars !
Powerful. You both are very talented.
Who are these guys and where can I get more ?
Beautiful singing and nicely played
fantastic performance, guitars sound & look amazing,
Perfect. And a perfect illustration of why Lowdens are the most lyrical of all guitars.
My eyes are open to Lowden..
Great performance and the amazing sounding Lowden guitars with their more unusual tonewoods.
Great song great version
Oh my goodness. This song is at the top of my "Best Ever" list... I was so taken by this version that I completely forgot what guitars were being played. Sorry Lowden (don't worry, I have an F-22). Fantastic version - vocals and guitars! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Wow. The best version yet.
Then original was one of the best-produced recorcdsings in. history, but it was lush. This arrangement is sparser, which seems ti fit the lonely, yearning nature of the song. Superb.
Yes and a true complement, Paul. Nice.
Great cover! Really enjoyed listening to both the voice and guitars. Thanks!
Beautiful!!
Incredible performance 👏
Guauuu!! Great sound and song. Thanks
Wow, you guys sound terrific! Great arrangement, terrific sound!
fantastic sound and voice
Great job! I want one of those guitars!
NICE.
You guys did justice to that venerable tune
Steven, well said..
These guitars each have a soul ,that only George Lowden can create. The clarity tone and incredible sustain is due to his continuing pursuit of a life and passion for perfection in his craft.
@@edmorrison7590 well said!
I really enjoyed your song
Spectacular! What a sentimental throw of Glen's Javelin, from one who remembers 67, 68 music. Great Version. Really looking at the Lowden's line now..
And in Dublin's fair city..
Hats off to Jimmy Webb..
Belfast
👏Brilliant!
Fantastic cover gents 👍
Loving the grain on those guitars.
It goes without saying, they sound incredible, as do all Lowden's.
Who said you can’t strum a Lowden? Absolutely superb sounding guitars, in any setting. A great video, showcasing local talent at its finest. BTW the guys aren’t too shoddy either, 😂👍👌
Ger the bard why would anyone say you can’t strum a lowden? It’s a guitar
@@pauljohnson9260 I think it's the reputation cedar top guitars (like most of Lowden's standard models) have. Best for pickers rather than strummers. Neither of those has a cedar top.
@@IndigoJo oh I see. Thanks
Dreamy.
Interesting to see a high-end guitar built outside Australia with Australian Blackwood; it's a favourite with Maton and Cole Clark but nobody else seems to use it as standard. Is it difficult to get hold of in Europe?
Fabulous version..... my favourite! Does anyone have the chords for this version?
cool
THos was high, high level
Lovely performance, this looks a tad advanced but wondered what the chords were
Great job. Beautifully crafted guitars that I'm sure are masterfully produced. That being said. The tone is just a bit to bright for me. It may just be the acoustics and the mic levels I don't know. Otherwise very well done.
