Fordson super Major 1964 engine

Started up my late fathers old Fordson major super 1964 after I changed all fluids, it runs like it was made recently.

that's an early major engine as it has the decompessor lever at front of cylinder head. Also a 64 engine would have FL stamped into the cyl head behind injector pump

It came out as a 1962, My father always said it was a -64 but it was wrong.
