  • Reaction to VoicePlay's music video of "Enemy". ‪@Thevoiceplay‬ recreates Imagine Dragons version into an a cappella masterpiece! This a cappella version brings an exciting amount of dubstep and EDM as their vocal percussionist, Layne Stein, gives the beat power!

When this video was realised, AleXa was in South Korea, and she contacted Voiceplay for this collaboration. Thus, all her part (video AND audio) was recorded there on green screen and then sent to Voiceplay to be integrated and edited. I think the result is just amazing... I wouldn't think she wasn't there with them recording 🙂. They continue to outdo themselves EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. 🙂❤
And their most recent stuff is just crazy... Can't even imagine what they will be doing when Halloween comes 😁.
    See you next time!

Interesting. What about the shots where they're all grouped together?

@@JeffreyHackReacts As far as I understand it, that's one of the weird miracles of video editing/green screen, but don't ask me how it work, I've never done stuff like that and I'm not into video editing in any way. But I believe that someone in their Patreon list could explain it to you... Well, to US. 🙂😁
I remember someone explaining it way better than me under another reaction, but can't find it now. Hopefully, someone will tell us the whole story. 🙂

Yes it was done with green screening on her. The BTS video showed her recording her part. It was very cool. The Bride in Hide and Seek was done the same way. She was in Nashville with a green screen and the guys were in Orlando in a real set.

@@Starrynightdiner Thank you, Ellen. I don't have access to the BTS, so I just remembered what I read in comment to other reactions 🙂.

My opinion is that Geoff and Eli had their hair and beards and mustaches temporarily dyed to make them look like this, obviously we know that their natural colors are lighter. I think that since they use little choreography in their arrangements, it is always enjoyable when they include choreography.

@@JeffreyHackReacts Thank you for another great reaction to Voice Play. Please do a reaction video to Voice Plays cover of..Peaches ( Bowser, Mario, Luigi & Toad ). Originally by Jack Black. Geoff really unleashes his inner Rock God in this one along with some low bass. They did this live outside & one of Layne's daughters makes a cameo appearance as Peaches.

I always enjoy your reactions to Voiceplay and Geoff so, so much! They do a lot of music that I've never heard of and wouldn't normally seek out. Doesn't matter, they are masters of their craft!
Geoff has a new one coming on the 9th of June, Voiceplay and Pattycake have new ones coming soon-ish.

@@JeffreyHackReacts In his latest video Geoff is dressed up in the same outfits in his cover of Misty Mountains. My guess it's going to be a continuing theme.

This was beautiful in so many ways! I love the background setting particularly! 😮 Their costumes were also beautiful as you stated and the choreography!

A little late to the reaction, but no one else seems to have mentioned this. Enemy is the intro to the TV series Arcane, based on the League of Legends video game. It's an animated series, and I know at least AleXa and Cesar are portraying characters from the show.

A pleasant surprise, but I reallt thought you had reacted to this earlier. You usually tend to be a jour with VP releases.
The dubstep and EMD flavour is nothing to their latest, Seven Nation Army.
