Ok so If there’s someone hurt or a machine stopped in the middle of the drags we should do nothing? What if a sand car or multiple cars come blazing through because the rangers didn’t shut it down then someone gets ran over and dies. That’s not something the off-road community needs more of.
@@Offroadaddicts vehicles are constantly breaking all over Glamis and nothing is ever barricaded aaaand you can argue being stuck out in the middle of the dunes is a lot more dangerous then being stuck at the drag strip. Did the guy drive through police caution tape? Legally, that is what a barricaded area is. If he drove through actual police tape then yes, he’s an idiot. If he just happen to roll up to the drag strip and saw police with their lights on off to the right of the strip then how is he supposed to know it was even closed down.

It’s very clear the ranger wait for a break in the cars and 5 or 6 rangers spread out blocking anyone from going. HE DROVE THROUGH IT TWICE. And they chased him down the 2nd time because he blew past the rangers while they TEMPORARILY shut it down for 5 mins. Everyone knows this so sounds like you haven’t really been to glamis on a busy weekend

IF UR FLYING DOWN THE DRAGS AT 100 MILES AN HOUR, YOU WOULD NOT SEE THE GUY AND HIS BROKEN DOWN QUAD TILL THEY WERE ALREADY HITTING HIM AND THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A FATALITY FOR SURE. THE RANGERS WERE 100% WITHIN THE SCOPE IF THEIR DUTIES AND SHOULD HAVE DONE EXACTLY WHAT THEY DID. IF I WAS THE GUY ON THE QUAD, I WOULD HAVE PUT THAT THING IN NEUTRAL AND PUSHED IT TO THE CLOSEST SIDELINE JUST TO GET OUTTA MIDDLE OF THE DRAG LANE THO. AND, NO WAY IN HELL THE MIDDLE OF THE DUNES ARE MORE DANGEROUS FOR A BREAKDOWN THAN THE MIDDLE OF THE SAND DRAGS. SXS HEATHEN IS ON TOO MUCH WEED AND COMPLETELY FRIED HIS BRAIN.
