BMW E65 745 750 emergency hood cable open release

This video shows how I have opened several of these cars when the hood cables have failed...and they will on all E65 bodies from 2002-2008 745 and 750. A good long strong hook is necessary as well as maybe someone to pull the cables at the same time.
You may have a better idea, but this is my opinion.
