The paper on the straw has me laughing. I do the same thing. I still do it like I'm too boushey for air to hit my friends' and family's straw tips. It's apparently as annoying as my table clean and dump at restaurants. 😂

The $5 taco discovery deal they had last month was the best deal they’ve had in awhile.
Nahhh the cravings box for $5.99 has been the best meal they’ve had for like the past two years.

@dorya.2189 that was by far the best deal in all of fast food when it was a thing I used to get that 2-3 nights a week and that was back in like 2017-2018-2019 and it was $4.99 if I remember correctly

So that would be 2 meals for me so yes i think its a very good deal
But how do u divide it up? Because obviously chips n cheese also double stacked taco id eat first then try to finish that chalupa cause that’s my favorite item and save the burrito?
@@alexalonzo219 I know this is late. Me and my girlfriend were on the road and I stopped by the Taco Bell. I saved the chips and cheese. Along with the double stacked taco. I ate the chulpa and the burrito because those have sour cream on them and I can’t reheat sour cream. But the taco I can take the lettuce and tomatoes off before I reheat the double stacked taco..
General rule for me if it has Mayo or sour cream. I will not leave that to reheat. I just can’t reheat either one and my gf will pop her hot sub in the toaster oven that had Mayo put on it 🤣🤦🏼♂️
If Taco Bell actually put some meat in their items this might be a better deal. But the amount of meat is a joke, not paying 7 bucks for beans, lettuce and tortillas

I was very satisfied with this value deal, especially with the upgrade to a large drink for 10 cents more.
I personally like the chips and cheese. I usually get it with my Taco Bell order.
I prefer the online exclusive box because I am not a fan of the chalupa, I prefer the cheesy gordita crunch that comes in the online exclusive box. The luxe box though is a great deal. The online box used to be an amazing deal when it was $5 but it is now $7.50 in my area. Still a very good deal but not as great as it used to be.
For me Taco Bell is a win over McDonald’s only because yes I agree McDonald’s isn’t enough plus like you mentioned your getting a med drink plus an extra item totaling 5 for 2$ more it’s a value in my opinion!
That and the 5.99 box is a better option then McDonald's as well
Had mcds today got 2 dollar sausage egg and cheese McMuffin plus 2 hash browns bogo1 a sausage McMuffin and a sausage burrito(bogo1) for 7 n change but this was breakfast n used app for 2 dollar McMuffin
Way more food for $2 more. Totally worth it. Chalumpa alone is like $5.

All those items separately would cost $15 up here in Ohio
Considering I paid $6 even for a burrito supreme two weeks ago here in Indian Lake Ohio. It was rather small and disappointing. I would 💯 give this a go!! Thank you for another awesome review!!
I'd always choose Taco Bell over the others...value meal or not. I'm tired of the fries since going on a Deluxe Cravings box binge every day for a week even though they're really good.

This exact thing was called the 5 dollar cravings box a while back and it used to be the best deal in fast food...idk about now, it might still be, even with the 2 dollar increase
I think it's a very good deal. My only issue is the choice of items - they're all beef items. Maybe next time they could do a bean burrito or a cheese/chicken item to mix it up. But it's still worth the $.
You can make them bean/vegetarian in in the app.
I'm sure you could change it up for an upcharge. Still a good deal with all you get

$7 is a terrific deal for that, even in these days! I wish the double stacked didn't just look like two taco shells with a ton of lettuce. I like the Baja Blast Zero (which is weird, since I don't like the regular hehe). 🙂

Love the Luxe box. Apend 20 cents more for large pop and sun cinnamon twists for the chips. Not as good as when they had the $5 craving box, but still a great deal!
So I added everything together separately on the Taco Bell app it’s almost $20 for everything Chalupa supreme is almost $6 by itself
$8 for everything I think that’s a great deal
I do agree if you want a cheeseburger you’ll likely go to the other places but it’s definitely a good deal even with the $2 more
Not sure if you can get Herr's potato chips in your neck of the woods. That are having a "small business" competition. There are 3 Philly flavors--cheese ravioli marinara, hot stromboli, and potato pierogi. You can vote for your favorite flavor until August 9. Herr's does a pretty good job replicating the flavors. Looking forward to trying these.

taco bell is leading the charge in terms of value for your dollar for sure. 3 entrees, chips and queso and a drink is well worth the 8$

I ask for a regular crunchy taco no lettuce and dump the meat and cheese into the chalupa so it's double meat.
Also at Wendy's you should have ordered the double cheeseburger instead of the junior bacon cheese burger then you would have had a better comparison to McDonald's

this is the best u can get for your money imo lots of food compared to the 5 dollar meals at other fast food yes u have to pay a few more bucks but its worth it in the end!!!

Um.. I'm confused. Lol I said at the beginning that I reviewed the 3 $5 meals from those other places and needed to see where this one ranks. I was showing the deal. And if I didn't at least take a bite of each item, some people would be upset. Lol
chalupa supreme is always nasty when I get it. rest of the box is good. taco bell is really hit and miss in my area. sometimes its good other times I wanna puke. i'll stick to mcdonalds
I'd go with Wendy's Double Stack $6 Biggie Bag. I spent fifty cents more to upsize the soda and drink.
Next would be Taco Bell's Luxe at $7.
And coming in last, the $5 McDouble deal. (Some locations are charging $6, if you buy the burger and not the chicken. So the pricing gets squishy.)
Nah, Wendy's burgers - actually most of their food just tastes nasty, but especially their burger meat. I would just take DQ over all of them but as terrible as they are, I do still love a McD burger.

It’s a decent deal, but the $5 build your own box was better. These boxes are $10 in some locations near me. They’ve priced themselves out of the market for me.
