I hear ya man I'm 55 and was a senior in high school when the album came out. I remember seeing them at the clubs in Hollywood before they took off. Saw them at Long Beach Arena with Krokus and Helix. Met Chris and Blackie at the Troubadour they were just hanging at the Heretic show. Man good times too bad I'm going to miss them on this new tour

As a 14 year old aspiring drummer back in 84 finding this cassette was a godsend. Tony's drumming spoke to me in a thunderous way and I loved the way he did a lot of tom work in the verses and choruses ie: L.O.V.E. Machine, B.A.D., School Daze, Hellion just to name a few. And of course Blackie is a damn musical, melody, and vocal genius. Still my favorite W.A.S.P. album.

I loved the cover so I figured what the hell. One of my friends told me they were one of those hairspray bands, but I was curious. Well... they were hairspray yes, but holy shit! They were not ignored, they were played on heavy rotation on MTV when this album came out, I saw them live in 85 open for Metallica on the Ride the Lighting tour, it was hilarious, blackie throwing around rubber chickens and fake blood around. Truth is they could not compete with the new thrash sound, and the image was cartoonish compared to the thrash bands just coming out slayer megad anthx etc. By comparison wasp was basically a heavier twisted sister (saw them too at that time open for maiden on the powerslave tour).
