Congrats to both and just amazing. No wonder Marvel released their trailer for "Ant-man & the Wasp Quantumania" today, since it features "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" prominently in the trailer. They wanted to latch on to this amazing performance. I saw some comments from some Iowa band members on the Lantern TV CZcams page that said, although they had the music and their part for a couple of weeks, the two bands only really got to practice together on Friday and on Saturday morning before the game. That makes this amazing performance even more amazing. No wonder Elton John complimented both on his Twitter page. Amazing work by both bands!
I didn’t have time to see this after the game but heard about it. Glad to see they are doing this with more bands. When I was growing up we got to see the bands at halftime. Maybe with more coordination like this we can get the networks to bring back the halftime show. I really miss it!
