Model Railway control panel construction overview

This video provides an overview of the stages we go through to construct a bespoke mimic panel. Our largest to date measures 850mm x 550mm and takes considerably more effort then the demo panel constructed here.
You’ll get an idea of how we originate the artwork, etch the panel, and construct an enclosure to house it. You’ll also see the panel finished by hand with paint and finally working, hooked up to a small test track incorporating solenoid motors, turnout position indicators and block detection.
