My name is Duana and my husband’s name is Curtis. We have been together for almost 13 years in July. Our life would not be complete without our beautiful children Ia (8), Isaac (6), and Isaiah (3). @@amethystperez5570 Just want to point out a fact. Statistics prove that most mixed people dont marry black people. Especially mixed men. Mixed men tend to gravitate towards white women or nonblack women ( latina, asian, mixed, etc). This is why everyone is so surprised.
My biracial cousin said black women are ugly. He has a biracial girlfriend and beats her up. And when he gets around white women, he shows off. I also have mixed cousins in Paris, France but they were recently very rude to my family and brushed them off. My mixed cousins in Paris, france are married to white men and their kids are white. Although my mixed cousins come from my black american aunt- they have no respect for their black family members. Its as if they want to erase their black side and they dont want their white kids to know their black family members. This is sad ! Racism is still very strong even among families.

I know how Curtis mother feels, when my baby boy got married, I was thrilled because I loved his wife but that was my last child. Than I became a empty nester
I totally like when couples compliment each other when they dress, and the kids look so sweet in their outfits. Getting married is a whole lot of nerves so i can understand why he forget his belt..hehehe.

Anyone else think Maurice looks really Lebanese? I live in a mostly Lebanese suburb and he looks like every other guy here. Meanwhile I agree with 99% of everyone else that Curtis looks latino. Specifically Brazil. Met so many guys who looked like him in Rio.

Because many Brazilians are Afro Latino (Which is essentially like West African mixed with European - Spanish/Portuguese and some native) which is pretty close to what Curtis is.
Right Ikelechi. But a lot of Brazilians are also darker. They come in all hues like a lot countries in North and South America.
