WIZBIT - Episode Two - Nasinamon Island
I was asked to direct Wizbit because of my penchant for making kid-freindly pop videos ("So Macho", Sinitta; "Blue Skies", The Jets: etc). I only directed the first series of six half-hour shows.
Wizbit was an independent production for the BBC. First shown in January and February 1986. The show - shot in Ewart's Studio, Wandsworth, London, is set in a circular set representing the town of Puzzleopolis. It starred a yellow cone called Wizbit, an eight-foot tall rabbit called Wooly, tv magician Paul Daniels, who owned his theatre "Paul's Playhouse", and Professor Doom the evil wizard, who, along with his cat Jinx, live in a giant fist-shaped castle called Castle Creep.

Root of ''all'' evil is actually a mistranslation of the original Aramaic where it says money is a root to ''many'' evils. Greed itself of course is the root of ''all'' evil and greed can only exist in ignorance. This is a really great show however and the magic tricks the man does is at least very inspirational.
