We enjoyed 8 days on the Ascent , Best service we received was in the EDGE 10/10 , food 10/10, Anis was best ever perfectionist 👏👏👏👏. Beautiful areas all over. Aqua class ,would pass next time, only was ok , spa was just ok no mineral pool , this area seen much better. , Blue just ok , Jeorge in main cafeteria always brought smiles with him around. Service over all was 7/10 a few bumps but ok, We did a back to back from Virgin , omg , service 10/10 , staff made it amazing . Thinking the staff on the Ascent was overworked at times and they seemed they rather not be there. Virgin took the service to another level . Not many children , but they said they loved the children's club 👏👏👍. Entertainment on our ship 4/10 , Virgin 10/10 , being honest . Beatles band did a Wonderfull job . Silent disco was fun fun fun. We sailed on the Celebrity Apex for my first cruise ever. It exceeded all my expectations, Celebrity Edge class ships are beautiful, well designed and fun!

I have been on only one Celebrity cruise. I was solo on the Edge Rome to Ft. Lauderdale late 2022. I thought it was _awesome!!!_ I al all about three things. Food, drinks and live music. The Edge had all three in spades.

I’ve been searching for reviews on cabin 9206 as it seems as the flying carpet is very obstructive. This is a very special anniversary and we’re paying a premium for 14 day cruise. If anyone has any input, I’d appreciate it
Are the cafes included? Or oy the 4 dining halls?
The snacks and the coffee shop were free, the buffet was free, they had poolside burgers and such, free ice cream and pizza.
I'm taking my adult daughter on the Ascent March 31st and doing the same cruise as you! Can you recommend any shore excursions?
Unfortunately I had to cancel my one shore excursion in Grand Cayman so I only did walk-around things. But the big thing in Grand Cayman is visiting beaches or going to Stingray City, that is very popular and people say it's terrific and family friendly. I would look into Stingray City in Grand Cayman. Cozumel is a good place for beaches and catamaran rides.
Me and my wife will be doing this cruise In December any thing I should know it will be our first celebrity cruise
@josfin45 you can choose which dining room you want in the evening. Pool chairs get snapped up very early so be flexible on how close to the water you want to sit. Bring your dancing shoes! And check out the shows in the theater, they were great.
Were all the activities included or was there a fee? When we sailed Celebrity before with kids for spring break the kids activities are in the kids Camp and they have a special itinerary just for kids. That's probably why you didn’t see it 'advertised'. My kids still say that was their favorite cruise for kids club.
I didn't have kids with me, so I don't know if there was a fee for kids activities. 😊
@SheSailsAway I was asking about the adult activities for fees. And letting you know why you didn't think they had kids or family activities. They probably did you just didn't know about them.
@nicoletwisk5122 oh! Got it! Nope, no fees for activities! Enjoyed art classes and lots of games!
