I remember when I was a kid finding a Total Chaos cd at the record store. On the cover it had a collage image of Jesus flying over a war zone wearing the American flag as a cape. That album cover was enough to get me to buy it and the music blew my 13 year old mind. The only punk I heard before Total Chaos was like NoFX and Greenday (who I love) but they were on another level. Couldn’t believe how heavy that album was.

Saw these guys in Norwich, UK supporting Black Flag back in '19 right before Covid luckily. Never cared about them until I saw them live for the first time and I was blown away by how fucking awesome they were! I'm now in a punk band and I wouldn't be where I am now if it weren't for total chaos. Nice guys too! :D
Seems they still support Black Flag with most shows oddly enough.

never liked gigs in the us few people in the front all all others in the back love when place is packes all front rows dancing all together no space for falling down stage diving etc. saw sick of it all like this in berlin was amazing, saw them in washington dc few people totally different atmosphere and an asshole even gave me a huge kick no idea why in the fermoral muscle never happened before to any gigs
