- We are SO excited to share this vlog with you today for a couple of reasons. One, it's footage of our favorite grocery store in #Samoa, Myna's! But we are also so excited because we thought this footage was lost forever. We had a hard drive become corrupted and we tried so many different things to try to retrieve the data and nothing worked. Then we met Bruce, who owns Tanoa clothing and somehow in our conversation we mentioned our corrupted hard drive. He said he has used Datalab NZ to recover drives for him many times and he even offered to take our hard drive to New Zealand for us and deliver it to Datalab personally!!! Holy Povi, Bruce, you're amazing and we're so grateful to have you as a friend! And Datalab NZ is ALSO amazing! We know many of you are creators and have data loss on occasion as well. I agree $25 is expensive for towels. Bought bath towels at Costco for $2.50 when they had their sale. They normally run for $5 when it’s not on sale at Target or Macy’s. When my mom visits us, she loads up on towels, comforters and sheets from the US because it’s cheaper.
Dang. I remember Seilua when he used to be on Samoa's first ever Star Search competition back in 03/04. It was their school acapella group from Leifiifi and they won the competition. If I remember correctly, Vaniah Toloa (THEE VANIAH TOLOA lol) was also part of the group (although hes an ACOPA). Someone correct me if I'm wrong Haha I was around 12 at the time lol Oh, & you can hear Seilua's solo in their school choirs cover of "Le Eleele Ua Le Malie I Vai".

Lots of different places. But usually Farmer Joe in Fugalei or in Vaitele. They have imported lettuce and also local lettuce. I also get local lettuce from Lynn’s in Motootua.

Love Myna's our local supermarket whenever we are in Samoa my husband is from Afiamalu the only thing we had trouble finding was fresh anchor cream other then that love everything about this store
Glad you guys enjoy it too! Afiamalu is beautiful country! Weird that they didn’t have Anchor cream when you were here last. They usually do have it. We always want Paul’s though cuz it’s a lot cheaper, haha! Unfortunately they NEVER have Paul’s. 🥴😂

This is awesome. We had a family trip in 2020 and were staying at an Airbnb in Tiapapata and Mynas was our first stop every morning before heading down the mountain and then our last stop before heading home. Miss their hot chocolates.

Wow, where abouts is Myna's situated? Gosh, pardon me for asking where everything is, I was there in Jan, first time back since 10 years🤦🏽♀️ and a lot has changed....A LOT. So, still trying to figure where everything is, for future trips. Love the vlogs guys, alofa atu👍
