    A p-bass with flats into a TFR is my sound. This a dream demo. Thank you.

    The flats with clean signal played finger style . I will admit sounds better than any Fender available currently . For the other styles and distorted signal it didn't cut it . Great demo none the less !

    Great bass demo! Really impressed given the last bass demoes didn't showcase finger style, slap style and pick style together along with tone changes and effects. Keep up the great work guys!

    Right off the bat this extremely well crafted boutique p bass sounds identical to many of the rare pre CBS era basses you can find only in certain exclusive vintage retailers put this next to a 1961-1964 Fender and do the blindfold test. I'll bet a lot of people wouldn't truly know the difference.

    I know a precision bass is a p bass the world over . However this has to be one of nicest I've seen made in the last 60 years .

    i dont get why so many companies makes basses that looks, sounds, feels exactly the same and cost as much or much more expensive than fender basses... just get the real thing

    • @iwillnevergetone5
      @iwillnevergetone5 Před 9 lety

      haha that's exactly what i'm saying. i'm not gonna pay more money than fender charges (already too much in my opinion) for a fender design, all while not even getting that infamous F headstock shape. but hey, to each their own i guess, right.

      Many times, people want to buy an instrument that's handmade in a smaller shop than the Fender Custom Shop. Also, a lot of these copies offer better construction, more options, slightly different body shapes/ergonomics and weird features that you wouldn't find on a Fender. In this case, if the La Bella really is emulating a '64 P-bass, then you'd save a lot of money if you were to compare a couple thousand dollars versus +$10 000 for a real '64.

    • @JimMartiataka
      @JimMartiataka Před 9 lety +4

      agreed! If you need to compare a bass with Fender, just go and get a Fender!

    • @DandamanV
      @DandamanV Před 9 lety

      I think the issue that people have with Fender is the build quality of some of their instruments. They make instruments dime a dozen, and I'm saying this as a guy who loves his Vintage Modified Squier Jaguar Bass and Fender Special Strat. They're great guitars, but there's still a lot to be desired in terms of guitar craft and workmanship.

      Thiago Salomão That line of logic doesn't make sense. What I were to compare a Sadowsky MV5 and a 5 string American Deluxe Jazz bass? I would go for the Sadowsky because of its better construction, more number of frets, and lighter weight. By your logic, I should automatically go with the Fender?

    I'd like to see a great custom builder like Hino get the chance to build one of these from a 60 year old tree, environmental regulations be damned. I think it would suddenly become crystal clear what the secret was to the tone of a real pre-CBS Fender.

    Why have your own guitar company then just completely rip off the p bass? Totally pointless, fender build quality is just fine.
