I've had the best luck with Countdown. It did take me like 2-2.5 hrs to get St. Elmo's to drop running only AR targeted loot, but damn if it isn't nails! Countdown is usually cake on challenging because you get paired with competent people who don't screw around. The hunters can be a bit of nuisance, but hell if some of the guys I match with don't melt them!

On floor 87 on heroic a random purple dropped me st elmos engine no joke loaded the game up for about 7 minutes and got what ive been looking for thank you for the direction my guy it was a big help

Yes to Countdown. Use MM and you invariably get several players with 1000+ SHD level. You might get kicked if the host doesn’t like your loadout, but just jump back in.
Nice video for new players! ✌️ Just wanted to add that it is possible to clear the floor but just don't go further to open up the door getting you out of there. What you want to do after you have cleared the floor is to kill yourself (easily done with chem launcher) which then you'll get transported into the elevator and restart the same floor again. This process saves you time since you don't need to be pushed down to the lobby.

Didn’t work for me. Vid method worked several times (although no exotics, only yellows). Tried clearing the floor and ended up on 51 my next attempt. Now clearing up to 60.
The problem is when you kill your character. You need to the get back to floor 10 when you log back into the game. But yes… it’s faster per attempt
I was playing countdown when i was wishing for a exoctic drop and it was Saint Elmos engine i didnt get it last season then i went into countdown and i got 3 chameleons and 1 Saint Elmos Engine
kamikazevondoom is usually my go to channel, but I like this guy. I’ll have to incorporate his channel into my list.

This whole process is random RNG my friend yesterday go a catharasis mask that i was farming for hours but he dropped it for me so i greatly appreciate it so im helping him get his ninja bike messenger bag i missed out on alot but since i came back lol i got my st elmos engine on one of the exotic caches and the big horn can also drop on the summit as long as its on legendary i recommend farming it on 80 because theres 2 named enemies so basically you have to opportunities for the exotic to drop. Got to go get ready for work take care sarge its good to hear that your channel and your community i growing strong

I've been farming summit and countdown for days, I got 2 drops 1 after the other, I am trying to farm for Iron Lung because I've hit a bug or something. I have got 2, from SHD GE caches but for some unknown reason, they don't allow the blueprint to be unlocked with Inaya, I've seen another user on reddit who's had the same issue. I am hoping that if it ever drops for me whilst farming, (3 days and counting) that with it being "Looted" and not "Rewarded" it will allow me to buy the blueprint, as I've also got the same issue with the Collector chestpiece, but that I don't care about just yet.
I was able to get one from an exotic cache, and I never completed the previous season. Haven’t seen one drop in the open world though.

Just one clarification on this video. You said you could get an exotic just for gaining a shd level but what you're showing is that you got the exotic drop as the reward for completing the mission, not the level advancement. I'm not sure it actually is possible to get an exotic just simply from gaining a shd level. Also, does the General Anderson mission still have a high chance to drop an exotic? I knew during that season it was a guarantee but I thought that was removed when the season was over, but still had a pretty high chance. Otherwise, great video. Summit farm can be EXTREMELY boring but decently effective for the time investment if you're able to clear the room fast and countdown is always a guaranteed exotic, it's just random from the cache but if you're goal is components, it's great

I have played countdown I can’t even tell how many times since launch had one exo. Tried floor 10 summit farm 1st time there got bullet king from boss. Now to see how many times in next hour I get exo. I can honestly say no exo after 40 mins farming boss floor 10 so better off countdown or Lincoln

Im confused. I had Mask target for my summit run, finished a Floor on Heroic and got an exotic drop. It was Sawyers Kneepads, on an mask target 💀

I need people to run with in this game , I logged 2.5K - 3k hours on the first division. This one is kinda throwing me through a loop
I recommend looking for groups on Discord. From what I’ve heard that’s the best way to go.
