And that all The success and money and lifestyle of the rich and famous that we low key/high key envy... having done all of that just for them to come back and tell us it's all bullshit. That's growth, that's maturity. That's life. Even your so called role models are in a process and on a journey just like all of us and no man is exempt from having to fight for his mental, emotional and spiritual freedom. This man is so in point. I'm glad I saved this video. My 12 y/o son's dad passed away 6 months ago. I asked him if he thinks he should go to counseling and he said no. Watching this video I literally just realized that I can't leave that decision up to a kid.

Well thats great and i know tgat feeling of being clean......ive been on drugs since 24 and only been clean 1 year out of those years and now im 42.....Still using now but im fighting and just called rehab this morning but no answer nor call back but im following up in the a.m....ive missed 3days from work this week and dealling with my mother cancer and her appointments....Its not easy but ill beat this and momma gonna beat this cancer too...

Great interview. I'm so mf'n proud of Dro. I remember seeing him at a park off MLK when I was living in ATL back in 2012/2013. That park use to be lit in the evenings. Dro knows what I'm talking bout during that time period. I'm happy you got yourself together 1st, then for your family, close friends, being a mentor to young children, and keep doing a great job. It is always fantastic to see people in recovery, God bless him. I wish anyone struggling with addiction that God would remove the desire to use. If you’re fresh out of recovery, don’t be in a hurry to go back into that environment to show how good you look. I’m over 20 years clean from heroine, thank God. I’m still required to do the work to make it another 20 years. Get help , you cannot do it on your own

Not everyone has the courage or chance to correct themselves and right their wrongs and there is so much beauty in that journey. I know personally from having recently struggled with alcoholism. Dro was a big part of my life. A lot of influence. I used to wear nothing but RL Polo bc of Dro. I had a couple of other guys around me dressing like that and listening to nothing but Dro. To all the RIP mixtapes or the Equestrian Dro mixtape. I still listen to his stuff to this day! And Im a white guy from the east/south coast area.
