Hi again. I was searching for eating in Minnesota. Here you are again Dave! I actually just watched a video of Minnesota state fair food. Can't pass up on what you have to show.
The first thing I do when I get to the fair is have a cheese corn dog and glass of lemonade. Then I have an ear or two at the roasted corn booth then head for the mini donuts. After that, the new food adventure begins!!
@@davkaufmaneatstheworld per your advice, I did get the Nordic waffle bacon wrapped hotdog and it was amazing. Definitely going to be a go to for me every year!
These videos just keep getting better. I'm loving this new channel! I watch all your other channels and I remember you put a few of these on the adventure channel and I loved them and wanted more so I'm glad you decided to give these videos their own channel. I'm seriously hooked.
That meatball is a great idea!! Deep fried curds? Or cheesecake? Both? What? That waffle booth looks awesome, Seattle loves their chicken on waffles Interesting Hot Dish... Cheese Curd Tacos.... Sounds yummy Please ship me some fresh curds ;) #RattleOn #EatTheWorld
Hey Eric, thanks! That's so great to hear! This channel is still less than a month old, but I just uploaded another video from the fair if you'd like to check that out too. Sonny is the best, and he's a lot of the inspiration of me starting this channel! Glad you're liking the new channel!
Kramarcuk’s hotdogs are the VERY best! I agree the Nordic waffle stuffed with their bacon wrapped hotdog, etc. was my fave new food at the Fair this year.
Our county fair will open probably on Thursday night, August 31. The rodeo is part of the PRCA circuit. I have gone to the fair a few times when I first moved from western WA. I usually don't buy fair food, especially if I can get the same thing at a restaurant for half the price. But, I think my favorite thing was the teriyaki sticks. Elephant ears seem to be a favorite for a lot of young people. These a basically fry bread. I have seen a lot of these at the fair.
You’ll have to do the “taste of Cincinnat” food festival i tried it a few years back and delicious food and liquors/beers and other little things as well! Another great video!
@@davkaufmaneatstheworld I should've known other states have them too! I am from a super small town in KY that doesnt do cool things easy to forget LOL
I heard the new donuts by the ferris wheel are really good. I'm going with the fam tomorrow and have to check that out. Love Nordic Waffles, not sure I'll do the bacon dog but the cheesecake curds sound interesting.
Fair foods always smells so great. I can't really eat it tho because of having really bad stomach issues but sometimes it's worth it lol. I hope you have an amazing day dāv
When I go to The Ex (Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto) I always see lots of wild and amazing fair food options… but I like to stick to the classics. Give me a lemonade from a stand shaped like a lemon, a corn dog, and the classic CNE ice cream waffles! If we’re talking state fair foods that I adore, my shout out is to the scones at the Washington State Fair, and my favourite drink from Frog Hopper Coffee: the Kick and Conquer. Just imagine if you made Italian soda with Monster instead of, well, soda.
Wow... thoes looked very.... creative! I'll pass but if I ever get the chance, Id inhale a serving of thoes cheesecake curds in a heart beat! It is interesting to see what monstrosities the food venders come up with, absolute mad lads XD
One of my favorite foods at my state fair is fry bread tacos. I would search for the truck every time I went like it was a life or death mission 😂 I haven't been back since I was a teen though.
I think you can find those around locally as well... but I can't think of where right now. My friends family up in Cloquet always made fry bread and we did tacos on occasion with it. VERY GOOD.
Getting hungry watching you. And I just Korean fried chicken for dinner!! 😮 Love exploring the food world with you!
So glad to hear that!

This was fun
Let's all just appreciate this man for not swatting the bees😘
I never hurt any animals for simply doing their thing :)
Hot dish on a stick with mushroom soup dip. Too funny! My fave would be fried cheesecake balls.
It is interesting to see what you try vs the other guy. Minnesota humor from you though.

Good plan!
Amish donut was worth the wait and probably our new fav. The breakfast hamloaf sandwich from Hamline church was delish too
I'll have to check that out next time!
@@davkaufmaneatstheworld per your advice, I did get the Nordic waffle bacon wrapped hotdog and it was amazing. Definitely going to be a go to for me every year!
Meatball on a stick, is genius. Genuinely
Right?
Trying to occupy my mind. Thanks Dave
Ole and Lena is “ohl and laynah”, also I think they’re kinda interchangeable with Sven and Ole, in the upper Midwest.
Also what’s a casserole? I only know what a hot dish is. Tater tots? Helluva hot dish.
It's like tater tots hot dish , which is really popular in Minnesota.
Now we will be planning a trip to the Minnesota state fair for the up coming years lol
It's an amazing fair!
You won't be sorry. Hope you can make it work
@@alh4791 it might take a year or two due to living in Tennessee but we love a good family trip to a new fun destination

They would get all icky in the box once they get to you. How's the Washington State Fair?
@@davkaufmaneatstheworld huge, insane, starts Friday
We have the earthquake burger which you can only get at the fair
We've got the fair scones
Minnesotan here. Just found you. I'm a big fan of Best Ever Food Review Show... and now I'm one of your subscribers. Very entertaining.

Tacos don't have much meat anyway. I had a taco here in Sandstone at the Mexican place last week.
It all looks so good!
It was! That's what I love about the fair!
Kramarcuk’s hotdogs are the VERY best! I agree the Nordic waffle stuffed with their bacon wrapped hotdog, etc. was my fave new food at the Fair this year.
I’ll have to try that next time
When you eat a cheese curd, and it squisks or is rubbery then you know it is fresh. I live near where the MN fair gets their curds.
Exactly! And very cool!
Have you tried the slammin salmon Nordic waffle? That's a favorite of mine.
I haven’t yet so I should go back, huh?
@@davkaufmaneatstheworld Yes!! Very good but now I'm tempted to try the new one so thanks.
The smoked turkey legs or bbq nachos from the Texas State fair. It's been years since I no longer live there , but those were my favorites.
I've always wanted to check out that fair!

Love the “Lake of the woods” T-shirt! Take care Dav!!
Thanks! I got it when I was up there filming fishing videos for one of my other channels

I wonder if those are still around? I'd love to find those!

Deep fried ice cream
Yum!
His favorite option was a $12 hotdog with a 1-hour line. Other options included cheesecake curds. Are the suicide booths near the entrance or in back?
Huh?
Are you coming back for 2024?
I sure am! I'll be there opening day!
Of course did you even go to the state fair if you didn't get a bucket of Martha's cookies?
I think it’s actually against Minnesota state law to go to the state fair and not get Martha’s cookies.

Type 2 diabetes ahoy.
Right?
