Led Zeppelin -Fool in the Rain Reaction - Zábava
Who else was anticipating her reaction to the middle bit? And she doesn't disappoint, lol. Great reaction!!!
Priceless!🤗🤗🤗🤗
🙋♂️ 😊
Incredible drumming on this track. Difficult time signature and immaculate shuffles. The second transition from samba beat back to the original beat is spectacular. Probably one of the greatest transitions in music. So smooth and flawless.
This song, in and of itself, is a master class in drumming!
The drummer John Bonham is keeping 3 different beats all at the same time, one for the lead singer, one for the lead guitarist and one for the bass and he's doing it all in his head. He is off the charts in his skillset. That's why Bonzo is considered the greatest of all time.
Ive been practicing that shuffle beat for a week, it aint easy. Still dont have it dowm. Played drums 40 years.
@@edwardpetersen3437 yeah, nobody can play it quite like him.
@@edwardpetersen3437 yeah, you trying to play Bonham is prolly like me trying to play Page after playing guitar 35 years... takes some practice!
I'm not exactly sure what you mean, mostly because I'm not a drummer, but I believe you 100%.
I do think he was highly underappreciated for his contribution to Zeppelin when he was alive.
@@scottbrown5818no he wasn’t, everyone claims JPJ is, but JPJ liked being more in the background.
Young lady, you are what I would call ‘an informed listener’. Great job!
You were able to take a song I have listened to hundreds of times and still make me smile the whole way thru. I guess ultimately that's what I'm here for so thank you!
You were so diggi'n it.
What a fantastic reaction.
And you can thank John Paul Jones for all the extra instrumentation.
There is a song for everyone from
Led Zeppelin.
I am so feeling you..You are blessed with a great musical ear and sweet spirit. Cute as well, enjoy watching you..:)
I admire your ability to sing back lines after hearing them just once.
This is why bonzo is the greatest drummer of all time in my book
not only your book but mine
I agree. I think it's even more endearing that he's clearly winking at Bernard Purdie the way he uses his Purdie shuffle beat: czcams.com/video/T1j1_aeK6WA/video.html
@@peterjonas4971 Neal Peart #1
BONZO #1 IN MY BOOK AND ALWAYS WILL BE!!!!!
I can only wish that the other reactions I watch and listen to across the board feel songs like you do.
Now...THAT is an actual REACTION. I was 20 when this album came out and I waited one day, in the rain and was stood up, for real.
May I hear your story?
Chris Howell Don’t let the poor guy have to re live that bad experience again by telling you the story. He probably wants to forget
Mike Valdez it’s been over 40 years bruh Im sure he’s over some girl standing him up 😂
All four members working their a$$es off to make it sound effortless. Love Jimmy's warm guitar toward the middle/end. Only as an adult can I understand what a masterpiece this is (like you said). When I was a teenager first hearing it I liked it but didn't understand the complexity. So nice to see you enjoy it. I'd give anything to go back and hear it for the first time again!
spot on
Masterpiece....and then some !
its amazing what those simple drum lines can do. who would have imagined you could get that big sound from a half time shuffle?
"Simple", or are you being sarcastic?
You can search John Bonham fool in the rain isolated drum and hear just how complicated the drumming really was. Incredible drummer.
i saw a few videos breaking that down...man, not every professional drummer could pull that song off
Serious. I'd put his drumming on this song up against any other Zep song. Just tasty.
One of the most awesome drummer in rock history.
He laid a premise in rock!
John is playing the Bernard Purdie shuffle. Jeff Pocaro of Toto used the Purdie shuffle, along with John Bonham's Fool In The Rain, along with Bo Diddley's bass drum beat to create the Rosanna shuffle.
@@amb2745 - I've read that John's shuffle is slightly different from Purdie's, but my hearing isn't what it used to be and I can't hear the diff.
Not sure how I missed this one but absolutely love it. Both the song and the way you relate to it. Right on.
GREAT reaction sister! And you look fantastic doing it. You got all the influences right - reggae, rock, samba! Steel drums, Xylophone-- Bonzo's stellar drums holding the ROCK WORLD TOGETHER!!! And of COURSE, another SUBLIME Jimmy guitar solo ... and then Robert's masterful one-of-a-kind, NEVER to be duplicated Vocals. Yes gorgeous, this WAS another Led Zeppelin MASTERPIECE!!! But there are SO MANY of those with this band. And that's why they're the GREATEST hard rock band, EVER. INCONTROVERTIBLE!!!
Best reaction video I've seen ever. Absolutely love your enthusiasm ☺️
One of my favorite Bonham drum beats. The Guy knew how to groove.. I think the sound you hear is a Marimba.. kinda the same thing except made of wood... find yourself a tiki bar in the keys with this on the jukebox lol
Scribe you are having way too much fun doing this song we need a party.
You said it all fiesta. This led song is different. Work of art.
Miss Scribe, we here fools standing in the rain for you! Great reaction!
Yeah the ghost notes on the snare the whole time really give it a shuffle like groove. One of my favorites (because i'm a drummer and Johon Bonham is a God).
Yeah and the ghost on the high hat too. 1 AND open hat 2 still working on it
the older I get the better this song holds up. Just such a badass vibe
Loved your reaction to this true classic subscribed to you for sure
You Kill Me Girl...LOL! Love that you Love The Zepp! Enjoy!
This song always makes me think of summer and puts a hella smile on my face😁
You've gotta read the lyrics for this tune. The very last line explains the title.
2023...Wish you never left... your reactions are unsurpassed! Hope all is well!
This is why I KNOW what we are on the outside has no bearing on what we feel on the inside cause I am not black or a woman but this track makes me feel exactly like it made you feel xx
YOU ARE A VIBE MY BEAUTIFUL FRIEND! It's a joy to watch you react to the music of my childhood!
This is one of my favorite John Bonham drum songs. Your reaction was perfect... you could feel it. The thee-over-four polyrhythmic feel complex, but also incredibly infectious. I love how you stopped it right at my favorite part... right after the faster, breakdown section when the song breaks back into the triplet-over-four groove again and Bonham does that tasty fill, it's just too cool, and you picked up on that too. This song was a pretty big radio hit off of Zeppelin's last studio album (at.least the last one recorded and released when they were still together) in 1979. Sadly, John Bonham died in September of 1980 and Led Zeppelin broke up after. A lot of people may dismiss this song as too poppy but its catchiness belies its musical complexity.
You are so fun to watch! So glad you enjoy this masterpiece! I loved this song when I was a kid and I still love it today! Thank you so much for your enthusiasm!
Great song, great reaction..
The tone of the guitar on the solo is so unusual and that there is a baseline following it exactly all through. That and Bonzos incredible groove on this is just such a great song ! I mean how do you make a song about a date gone wrong and the Brazil football world cup all at once. Legends
It's beautiful. It's run through something called an MXR blue box octaver. It repeats the input on a really short delay an octave lower.
Solo has a MXR BLU BOX distortion/octave pedal
I love how much you feel the songs you react to. Are usually don’t rewatch reactors, but I will re-watch yours.
I love her pure joy.
ScribeCash you're funny and delightful to watch!
Bonzo modifying me Purdy Shuffle which made it even more difficult, laugh. But it's so perfect for this and his choice of fills is just extraordinary. Everything about this rules.
My favorite one.
And they have lots of good ones.
I been through similar situations.
Now I will stand in the rain on the corner
Another ten minutes no longer .
And then I'm turning around round.
i love you hear my favorite band
They definitely keep you on your toes, you never know what you’ll hear, with their variety of genres.
Led Zeppelin's tribute to Mardi Gras/Carnival. Enjoy!
Girl, you are so into it you cannot be but praised for grooving out! Zep was crazy for all of us when we first heard it like for you. They broke up because the drummer died. The band could not exist without any one piece.
Bit of reggae/funk shuffle then suddenly..CARNIVALE! Brazilian/Caribbean Sambal!
Your music reactions are just too much cute. ❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍
Masterpiece indeed.👍
scribe feels the spirit on a level that I have only achieved on mdma. Im here for it.
Love your reactionnn!!....also one of the first rock songs to rock a whistle in it!! Many layers in this epic LZ song
Please do a cover version of this song! I love your voice! ✌️👍❤️
This song is a fucking masterpiece!!
It has it all!!!
Thank you for the entertaining reaction.
Peace to you.........
You have a great voice so it very nice to hear someone who has musical knowledge reacting. Thanks! 💕👍 and your expressions make me 😆
Always loved this one!
It’s called the “halftime shuffle.” This song is polyrhythmic with a samba groove.
You are so entertaining to watch! I love it.
My absolute favorite reaction to one of my favorite songs. Thank you.
Thats crazy this girl has to be a singer musician or something the fact that she perceives the rythms and instruments, noticed the xylophone and classical guitar and everything. And she knows about the layering.
I believe it’s a marimba or meant to sound like one. John Paul Jones used mellotrons and 70s keyboards for a wide variety of sounds
I love your videos!
Best Reaction yet to Fool in the Rain!🎉
Great vid!
Amazing song! Very honest and excellent reaction/review!
Such a vibe 🤘
Great music from the past is always something to enjoy. Keep enjoying your journey. These tunes with stay in your mind forever!!
You are the winner! Best reaction to Led Zeppelin!!
This girl is crazy and i love it 😂
She becomes possessed by the music 🤣 I love it
Now you know why they are considered the best ever.
you just witnessed rocks greatest off
beat drummer
you got it, such a great tune
You have a wonderful way of expressing music
Your energy is awesome and I don't know why I'm getting such a kick out of the bottle of 409 sitting there.
I think the drummer, Bonzo was doing 2 different time signatures to get that sort of off tempo syncopated sound. My favorite part though is when Jimmy finally kicks in with a brilliant fuzz bass lead. During this time he was struggling with a serious opiate addiction, yet somehow he could still produce a masterpiece if he set his mind to it.
Great reaction
This I think was the last recorded song they did, even when things weren't going well they produced a masterpiece
This song is my Fav from them , Zep was just the baddest, man they layed it down hard. The drumming is absolutely to awesome . BTW you are not hearing things wrong. You are listening to some of the greatest musicians to exist on earth .. you bet that song is orgasmic. Hey hey what can I do by zep, another greatjam
you nailed this girl
❤
I love this
Best reaction!
🙏🏻❤️✝️
This is, hands down, my favorite Zep tune. Bonham absolutely destroys this song. Plus, it may be catchiest melody they’ve ever written. Don’t get me wrong, basically everything they’ve done are straight bangers but this one holds a special place.
Ha ha ha!!! SPLENDID!
Almost thought she got the lyrics first time - "a fool waitin' on the wrong block" 😖🤪😪😄
Now I remember why that was my favourite track for such a long time. In fact, I admit that I probably had ADHD or some such thing and wasn't the brightest shell on the beach, but this song brought all the elements together for me and shortly after I fronted for my own band for a spell. I had the absolute joy of listening to all previous LZ albums anew and did me some learnin' & coolin' 🤪🙏
I find it staggering that ANYONE cld even conceive of such brilliance - but then that's wot lernin duz I spoz😊
What a truly happy song - it wldn't happen nowadays with GPS to lead us not astray ha ha ✔😊🙏❤
Wonderful reactions, muchas gracias señorita bonita 🙏❤
409 Baby! Light up my life.
Your Fun. TY
Its awesome watching you dig this. You should check out the isolated drum track. Bonhams shuffle best is legendary!
Nice to see kids of today enjoying music of the 70's. Fool in the rain is one of my top fav songs. Zep follows the formula of the Beatles by mixing up the sound and lyrics. For those that do not not know the lyrics in the samba section:
--- Samba SECTION LYRICS ---
Ooh, hands on the clock
They just don't seem to stop
While you're thinking it over
Ooh, Time and a light
They just don't seem to shine
I get away, get away
Ooh, I see in my dreams
But I just don't seem to be
I gotta get out
Gotta get out, gotta get out
I gotta get out
Just a straight jam
Aribe! Let's go!
Jimmy paige said it was his masterpiece and the most complex song he ever composed like I said earlier there is alot more going on in that song than meets the eye like John Bonham playing out Beat at half time the only way it would work an the only drummer that could pull of except my dad he tried to show me many times but it is almost impossible to stay out of beat.the song had it right that's how I fill everytime I try to play it
Like a fool in the rain
.lol
That's why they didn't play it live, it was too complex. It required a 12 string guitar too, as well Jones playing piano and bass....They could have hired session guys to play on stage i suppose, but i am sure that wasn't something they wanted to do. Of course John Bonham died the year after the album was released as well.
@@petergunn3614 yes I have been trying to get that sound or something close for 40 years.
We finally sound like 4 toddlers playing kitchen utensils..lol
I I'm pretty fair on the 12 string part partly because I love playing the 12 string in 5 part harmony mainly but after years of abuse of my hands can not play it much anymore. carpal tunnel and several surgeries
Keep digging
I'm there baby
One of the hardest to play because john Bonham is playing about a half beat from the bass only he could do it if you I tried it but always ended getting back in time and it don't work
I love your voice scribe you should do your version of this song. I would love to see you do this song.
Listening to this, and you, I found myself wishing to hear you do a version of this. That would be amazing! Do you think you would? I hope so and please let us know if you do. Thanks.
oh ha ha ha girl! you are so funny. you react to this song way back alot like me way back when it came out and i was tryin to drum it in 79 /80. old scatter beat improvised the bonham style. syncopation on the hat and bass drum accented. him and baker where in a league all by themselves too.
5:27 Batucada brasileira from Brazil 🇧🇷
Their best.
You don't hear John Bonham's drums.....you feel them!
The closest Led Zeppelin came to mainstream pop....
But, psych!!! They put 2 middle fingers up and said, "Nope!!!"
Don't forget the kazoo!
Them White Catz BANG!JIMMY,BONZO,JPJ & Big ROB!so Funky So SOULfull!!
