For those who don’t know, range isn’t really necessary for Hildryn. Pillage has a starting “range” that’s affected by the range stat, but works similarly to Nova’s 4 where it expands outward scaling off duration. Dumping range on her isn’t a bad idea for this build unless you really care about reaching all of your teammates with Roar and giving Haven a bigger radius.
As well, it can be recast to end the ability early and bring back whatever shields have been pillaged, making dumping the duration stat also unnecessary. In fact you’d probably want more duration as opposed to range for this build so Roar isn’t like 20 seconds long.
I like to roar more often :) i get to recast it incase allies were out of range

@@yomanwtfisthisshitnobody uses her 1st or 4th. Hildryn main, subsumed roar over 4th and still never use 1st unless for funnies.
@@RD-dd6ff I do and it's great, makes her entirely independent from weapons, fantastic for sp Circuit, works great in regular steelpath too. Also very comfortable right now in whisper bounties to delete enemies while popping containers left and right(obviously with range modded). A great option imho.
Actually, low dur is somekind of advantage of pillage. You can 1 click and dont need to reclick or wait it comeback.
Range is not must have, but base range of pillage is 20m only, so make it too low is a bit of annoy
I cant wait to finish her in my foundry I got the new melee arcane that scales melee off sheilds and a ridiculous fang prime build waiting for it

Personally I'd swap archon vitality for fast deflection as I find it doesn't do a lot of damage, and deflection stops you being a sitting duck when shields break after the gate ends
Blazing pillage with archon vitality is meant to aoe prime for a multiple heat dots. Not dmg
My hildryn build has 8,195 shield before overshields lol.
Primed redirection, Primed vigor, boreals hatred.
I can’t handle that much thiccness 😂

And how much "strenght" is left for her Pillage, on your build? I'm guessing you'd need 5 red archon shards to counterbalance that.
There is a threshold once you reach 50% strip that 50%>99% strip is the same thing, aka two casts to full strip.
Imo full stripping in one cast is bad in high level content, because your next cast won't give you much or any shield since enemies don't have any armor to strip. it's a great build that ive been using for a year now@@MauMenzori
Does voracious metastasis work on hildryn? Uses energy to heal your teammates and grant them

It’s likely coded not to since her “energy” is from shield. You would need to check im only guessing

It only heals yourself not allies.
But with negative energy efficiency it cost 700 shields and it gives 700 energy.
Wait wait, is this a bug when hildryn still can recover shield on enemy without armor/shield?
Read again what Blazing Pillage does.
The full strip with one cast is unnecessary, you're going to be casting pillage often anyway with, blazing pillage. So you've wasted a lot of stats on unnecessary strength mods imo.
I though adaptation didnt wrk on shields?
It doesnt work on overguard
Armor doesn't apply on shields but damage reduction does.
