It has an amazing original soundtrack composed by John Powell and Harry Gregson-Williams as well as some pop music that fits the movies perfectly. I hope you enjoy my remix of some of the music from the first film. Inculed are the tracks:

Have you watched it? If you haven't, one warning, PLEASE LISTEN TO ME. Don't watch Shrek The Third. It's a horrible movie.

@@nova8669 The plot is bad, the characters are bad, the music is bad, the jokes are bad. Other than that, it contradicts one of the specials, and it's a pretty major plot-hole. You see, in "Far Far Away Idol" Prince Charming and Captain Hook became positive characters, but in Shrek The Third they're pretty much the main antagonists. That's a huge plot-hole. Plus, there's a plot-hole associated with the main antagonist of the fourth movie, all the other characters from Shrek The Third, Shrek's parents and Charming once again. All of these plot-holes dissapear if you throw Shrek The Third out of the timeline, plus the movie doesn't even affect Shrek: Forever After. I just think it's better for you to not watch that movie, but you probably have.

original soundtracks are the best, yes it is easy to use a popular song, hard is to fit a hidden cult song into a scene, but creating an original soundtrack for a particular scene is the best option, always.
