You should probably wait till you've watched the movie to talk about this. I saw it yesterday and they kissed because they were on the run and were in a mall surrounded by people looking for them. black widow said "kiss me, kissing making people uncomfortable." Basically they did it so they wouldn't be caught because you don't really look too closely at people kissing. But they did have a lot of little cute flirty scenes too.

I'm glad to see that I wasn't just imagining that. They seem to genuinely care about one another but also have a mutual respect as well. I hope that in the sequel that they give the Black Widow a slightly larger and more important role. She was very under utilized in the first movie. I'd actually like to see Hawkeye play the role of matchmaker between her and Captain America. It could add moment of levity in an otherwise serious movie.
That is like an alternate future that didn't happen. Most people do confuse Bucky's Captain America with Steve's Captain America.
I think MoS is going to have a very strong opening weekend, but that $21 is cheating on Warner Bros part as $12 million comes from corporate screenings they sold. Very clever to inflate their opening day number by doing that though... WB is playing to win, and they're willing to play hard ball to pull it off.

YES!!!!!!! I thought I was the only one who saw that hawkeye and black widow had chemistry in the movie and even in the series avengers the mightiest heroes. So they never hook up before?
Grace, I saw an early screening of World War Z last week in Philly, and it was quite the theater experience. We got a free soda and popcorn, World War Z t-shirts at the end, and Brad Pitt showed up to the theater for a minute as well! The film wasn't amazing, but very entertaining. Solid 7.4/10. Pitt also went down to Atlanta in the same day to preview another screening! He certainly is trying to market it, after all he has around 350 million to make back. Just wanted to let you know! $22 in New York dang, here in Vancouver, Canada its about 10-12 on average some places are 15. except tuesdays when its -6 bucks all day

$50 in a theater vs $1 at a redbox 5 months later.... I don't love movies that much to have to see it now and pay that much for it. If it comes down to it, I would just stop going to the theater and wait til they all come out on DVD
Hawkeye felt more like a weaker link than Capt America. Hawkeye got the less screen time. But Capt got almost as much as Iron Man.
Heck yea!!! I love Captain America and Black Widow and Next Avengers only made the OTP more addicting to me! I seriously hope that they hook up in the movie. Especially since it's been confirmed that Agent 13 is not going to be the romance interest in the movie.
It would have to be a Large Popcorn and Large Drink, keep the poster, gimme a cellphone case instead, and let me stream the movie a week before it comes out on DVD/Bluray.

Disney announced yesterday that they will be releasing the first Frozen trailer on Tuesday. Why do you think Disney has taken so long to reveal a trailer, and what does this suggest for the film?
Back when I was reading comics, I read mostly DC titles and only a few Marvel and Marvel imprint titles. But I'd always been under the impression that BW & CA were headed down the romantic highway. After watching the animated features, I know that's EXACTLY where it took them. I do think that they'd make a good pair. They have just enough chemistry to keep it interesting. Let's see how it plays out.

Seems like Paramount are doing this in desperation to gain more box office because of World War Z's bumper budget. Maybe that's why advance tickets are available already in the UK and the movie premiered so early.

I figured they might go in this direction: Black Widow and Hawkeye seems like too obvious a pair, so they may want to go somewhere else with it. Notice when you watch the Avengers back, you can pick up on subtle things between her and Cap like how they look at each other or respond to each other. I dunno, I'm just speculating here.
Cap is wearing glasses so I think it is a cover. There's hardly any set photos with Steve wearing the Cap suit. But I'm always open to a relationship
The key is if they make it a love triangle it will suck. If they make it a slow burn romance it will be ok.

some friends and i sat down to talk Disney/Sony/Fox dream decision of making the ultimate Marvel mashup for Infinity Gauntlet/Avengers movie. With each studio making tons of $ on individual properties, the question we asked was how this dream flick could make enough $ to satisfy all 3 companies and have fanboys weeping with joy. My idea was the "mega ticket." $25 bought popcorn/soda and a 3+hr movie with an intermission to stretch them legs (think Dances with Wolves) and a piece of movie swag.
It makes sense since Black Widow and Cap were married in one version that Marvel did.

In my country a normal function is about 5U$, on certain days is half the price. For Premium theaters or 3D it's 7U$, and 4D is 9.50U$. And now all theaters are numbered. 50U$? That's a rip off, not even DVDs or BDs are that expensive here. For 50U$ here, if they included the DVD/BD, premium numbered seating, 3D/4D, popcorn, drink and some candy, maybe yeah, I'd consider it for something like The Hobbit because it's a long movie too.

I am firmly in the Black Widow and Hawkeye corner (and I'm pretty sure Joss is too!), although this would put an interesting kink in the team dynamics in Avengers 2. I doubt Hawkeye will be pleased with Cap over this one.

I know you don't play video games Grace, but what Spielberg said about the movie industry is VERY similar to what is already happening to the gaming industry. Developers such as EA are buying out smaller companies, and then raising the prices (in addition to adding in-game stores), and since there is less competition, quality is diminishing too. I just found that to be interesting.

I'd rather see Black Widow with Captain America or Bucky than with Hawkeye, since I really like the idea that Black Widow and Hawkeye are best friends and really trust each other, but at the same time that there's nothing romantic about it. I feel like male-female friendship is very rare in fiction, so I'd really like if that was the way they went with Black Widow and Hawkeye.

I would only pay $50 for a VIP ticket if the theater made sure it'd be quiet through the whole film, have no fuckin' babies, free hotdog with drink and candy, exclusive behind the scenes extra after a break after the movie going for at least 10 minutes long, and maybe a coupon for like 50% off of the film went it goes on Blu-ray/DVD. That isn't asking much especially since tickets here in Hawaii for movies are $10. BTW, u have to pay $22 in NY?!

I would HATE it if Black Widow and Captain America got together! There is no chemistry between them and no history in the comics. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it if Bucky and Black Widow get together in the movie! They were brilliant together in the comics! If they follow the comics and have it that Bucky was her first lover, it would bring interesting romantic tension for Bucky, Black Widow and Hawkeye. Poor Steve would feel a bit in the middle and maybe we'd get to see some of Hawkeye's mean streak.
The Captain America Black Widow is with in the comics is the James 'Bucky' Barnes one, not Steve Rogers.
