Remember that depression isn't a sealed cave. It's a tunnel. Keep on going and you *will* find light at the end.

Great Comment Frank - i once wrote down i see it as invisible for others to see, imagine being sat in a chair on a beach looking out to sea, and everyone is having fun around you BUT you can feel a Tsunami out to sea coming towards you that others cannot see THEN it hits you, crash's into you, But to others you are sat in your chair nothing happening, The Tsunami is crashing over you and around you moving past going inland and you have to stay strong 'Not Panicing' in the chair and you just have to be patient and 'WAIT' , then it all flows back to the sea and you are sat safe in the chair due to not having fell apart.
i also wrote while in that chair/time deep in the depression at your lowest you can link in with The Inner Spirit/God and you can examine what is presented to you and you can work on it as it is something that is blocking your spiritual progress that time of depression can be where you find a pearl of wisdom in the darkness.... secret is do not panic..! Best Regards James

      @francisoconner3596 Před 5 měsíci

Candybell3214, I have had over 100 plus surgeries and procedures since birth. There is only one way to stop depression which is stop keeping God out of one’s life. If one asks God to help you by praying to God, by reading the greatest love letter to humanity the Sacred Scriptures the Holy Bible and ask God to forgive one of our sinfulness. I promise you that ones depression or any of problem God can and will fix if one Loves God as much as he loves us. You’re problem or illness my not go away but God will give one the tools to make you happy, joyful and at peace inside one’s soul, body and mind.
Satan does want any of us to rely upon God for everlasting happiness, joy and peace. God loves us so much that he wants all of us to be in Heaven with him for all eternity. But if we follow the world and Satan our happiness, joy or peace will be very brief.
If one forgoes the world and realize on God alone the joy, peace and happiness will shine upon us with God’s graces and blessings.
Again, completes the Three Pillars the God asks us to do daily which are prayer, Penance by (obeying his 10 Commandments ) disobedience to God’s Word and will and study and know the Catholic Faith which is the only Universal Truth that Jesus Christ founded and set forth through his Apostles

Maybe also, this was what had to be done to bring more awareness to mental issues/challenges that not many are taking seriously. This touched my heart from a place of knowing. I hit a wall after a productive 26 year career in education where I couldn’t process any more. I resigned at the beginning of this school year. The stress and anxiety were debilitating. It was the craziest thing because I spent my life helping kids and families deal with very stressful, difficult, heart breaking situations. There had been a lot of loss of staff and students and some family tragedy as well but it still didn’t make any sense. I had pushed through for so long and just couldn’t anymore. It has rocked my family and our world. I’m glad to see you are back. Healing takes time though so be patient with yourself. I am just understanding what caused my situation and I hope you find answers and healing as well. Best to you and yours on this journey. ❤

I suffered from anxiety so much that I had to force myself just to go to the grocery store. I know some people don't believe in the Lord but I do and he told me that the devil was trying to steal my joy. It wasn't an audible voice it was just something that popped in my head and I know it was the Lord. It changed my out look and I hardly ever have anxiety attacks anymore. I pray a lot and the more I pray for others the smaller my problems seem.
I'm so glad you're doing better not just for you but also for your beautiful family. May God bless and keep you always..

I'm 56 years old and I struggle with anxiety, depression and schizoeffective disorder most my life and I get what you are saying. I get to where I fear leaving the house and will isolate for months sometimes. I manage my symptoms with antidepressants and antipsychotics and have been doing well again for about a year. It's so important to keep busy and have things to do and look forward to, at least for me. I'm am happy you are doing better. Don't beat yourself up. Embrace your whole self as even our "faults" make us who we are. You are a positive, bright individual with a beautiful family. And I believe you are correct. These trials you are going through are for a reason and will make you a stronger, even more compassionate person. These videos you post explaining your situation can be great therapy too - not just for you but the people who watch them. I hope it helps and you continue doing your thing. Thanks for being you, bro! D 🎶

I feel your pain. When I lost my best friend (my 35 year old daughter), a little over 2 years ago, it was the most painful and heartbreaking experience I’ve ever felt. Along with the unbearable grief came the overwhelming feeling of anxiety, which I’ve had off and on during my life. It’s been a nightmare, but as of the last week or so, I feel less anxious and stressed, thanks to a wonderful therapist, family and friends. I also have changed my diet, read a lot and I’m trying to get out of my house more. I will never be the same person I was, but I’m trying. I guess that’s what matters. I wish you happiness, joy and lots of love to you and your family. You’re an inspiration to me and many others! Btw I absolutely hate needles too!

Al, everything you said made so much sense to me and you're not crazy. Anxiety, grief, depression are all real feelings and can hit us when we least expect it, and it will leave you unmotivated to do anything. I can also relate to the needles thing. By now, I have had enough needles with blood work, etc., and I don't mind it as much, BUT, there is still no way that I can look at my injection site when the nurse is giving me a shot or taking blood draws. Sometimes I have a hard time turning bad thoughts off in my hard until I remember to ask the Lord to please take these thoughts away, and He does. So glad you shared this very sensitive and hard video. You have touched so many people, and I am glad that you are ready to get back on your mower and continue your good work. Bless you. So now I have to go routinely for my sugar and I tell myself that I have been successful in the recent past and can be successful today. Two of my grandchildren have difficulty with the thought that their doctors visit may include needles. I have zero problems with them, I once had to have a skin cancer removed from my leg, the nurse was going to have me lie down, I told her no, I wanted to watch and the doctor said I could. Also no matter how gross something looked or smelled I didn’t gag. Well the no gag thing is gone. I can gag at almost everything now, but needles still don’t bother me, and I have a suggestion Al, I have seen you get stung by many bees, I’ve seen you pick up a snake….that is something I’ll never ever do in my lifetime, but as far as needles and bees, try and think to yourself that if you can handle a bee sting which is actually going to hurt really badly, that you can handle a small stick of a needle which will only last a very few seconds. I’m a diabetic, my doctor had me on Ozempic for awhile, I didn’t like the side effects and went off it pretty quickly, but I have to say that the needle on that syringe was the smallest I’ve ever seen and I didn’t see how there could possibly
be a channel inside it to carry the medication, but there was. Too bad every needle isn’t that small. I’m guessing the needles diameter was a fourth the size of an eyelash! Doctors should start requesting those! All this being said, I’m glad to hear that you’re doing better, the family is doing good and your daughter is well! 🙏🏻

You are a kind, generous, thoughtful and insightful young man. Love and believe in yourself! Praying for you and your family. God bless you. ❤🙏😊

Oh I'm so proud of you! Talking about depression and anxiety is very difficult and for you to get on here and talk about it speaks volumes and makes me want to send you hugs and I am going to keep you in my prayers! I always found that going to the stables and petting horses helped me. And we ARE your friends and we are here for you! I just happened by your channel when I watched you and other guys working with SB mowing and I'm glad I did! Take care and God bless

Hi AL I'm not one to comment on videos but I felt compelled to let know that you have taken the first steps in dealing with your anxiety. I have witnessed this with one of my sons who has had depression and anxiety for 11 years . He now has a family and is doing much better. Talking with friends and family helps, but sometimes professional support is needed to get over the hurdles. Don't be embarrassed ❤ We all need love and acceptance. You are truly a beautiful soul. God bless you , your amazing wife and family . 😊 you got this

I realized i was overloading my brain and felt like i could not shut my brain off. I understand how u feel. You have a beautiful wife and family i am sure and sure they support you on your journey to self care. I will pray for you brother, you are a blessing to so many including myself. Be blessed and take it easy.❤❤❤ taking the time to switch up your routine is super helpful. We are here for you..

Al, I hope you know that the reason we all watch you is not just your skill at mowing but your humility, honesty, empathy and kindness toward your family and others. You are a special human being. My daughter, grandson and husband have all suffered episodes of anxiety and you described it perfectly. You pull away and you can’t get out of your own head or take that first step in getting help. So glad you pushed through your terrible fear of getting labs done and hope this helps you get back to where you want to be. ❣️

    Love your work Al. ❤
I’m an EAP clinician and I see hundreds of people in the clinic with anxiety, including health anxiety. I’m so stoked for you that you’ve found a way through to do something about it. It’s so important to get your health checked out and attend to what is needed. Do everything you can to calm down your autonomic nervous system and set yourself up with a green prescription of good food, sleep, nutrition, exercise and someone to talk to everyday about how you’re feeling. It will help.
You’ve got this Al, you’ll get through it. You’re already helping people by sharing your lived experiences about anxiety to inspire others to do something about their anxiety too. ❤

Thank you for sharing. Sometimes our guardians, guides and ministering angels give us many signs that we need a time out. I am curious about your age, as I believe 28 is the first year of true adult life, and ages 26-29 are the toughest self examination years. Also, you are obviously a very sensitive being and full of compassion for others; finding the compassion for ourselves, and self love is a lifetime work. When difficult thoughts take up too much time and FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real) decreases our sense of well being, keeping your hands busy is the wisest thing you can do. Games, puzzles, and I love watching Lego Masters. As you engage in a reset, I can see you fine tuning what is right for you, as an individual. Be well and have a prosperous and abundant 2024.

Thank you for honesty and explanation of your thoughts and feelings. You are not alone. I’ve experienced clinical depression at least 5 times in my 49 years of life, and I’ve always considered myself to be pretty strong. I agree, we all spend too much time on our phones, on CZcams, watching depressing news, and surfing shallow social media. We as humans need to pursue happiness in just living daily life and being good to one another in the process. Who needs all this bitterness and sarcasm, like is present in 2024?!

My guess is most of your million subscribers don't just "consume" you or are entertained or "satisfied" by your videos. I think people are genuinely affected by your life message and simply find you encouraging. So this revelation of anxiety doesn't diminish our admiration for you, it only enhances it.

I am so glad to see a video from you, you have been on my mind lately.
I suffered from extreme anxiety and depression to the point of not leaving home.
It's very hard when you are going through it. You are making positive steps towards recovery.
It's what it takes, small steps forward until the walk becomes easier.
I found listening to flute music in a quiet room helped me get through the worse anxiety attacks.
My grandson swears by LEGO for his :)

Al, in this video you just described perfectly what I've been going through the past few months. I was injured in Novenber (dislocated shouler). I had surgery in January and all I've done is sit on my butt, can't get moving on anything. That's caused my anxiety to increase because there's so much I SHOULD be doing. I'm glad you've been feeling better. You're a special person.

Brother, My wife used to struggle with anxiety and depression after I had an accident in 2004, she attempted suicide in 2014 but after 30 days in the hospital when she was healed completely she accepted Christ Jesus as her Lord and Savior (me too) we both did, He delivered her from that ! The Bible says God did not give us a spirit of fear so if you believe Just ask Him to remove that spirit from you, we love you and will be Praying for you and your Family. May God Bless You
