    On cutting door jams. Get a scrap piece of flooring and a small piece of underlayment. Lay it next to the jam and use your oscillating saw laying on top of the scraps to cut. No marking, no damage. Works every time.

      @JuanOfAllTrades  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Spacers are used as a guide. No need if you know how to measure.
      Replacing hardware is the way to do it, so why would I just pop the pins when I’m replacing it ?

  • @Apexjasonmorganllc
    @Apexjasonmorganllc Před 8 měsíci

    This advice is equivalent to a Home Depot work shop. You cut the floor to have an expansion as your installing. If you pry one side over it makes the other side of the room tight. Also there’s not a legit flooring installer that takes the screws out of the hinges. Pop the pins. It’s on and on.

    • @JuanOfAllTrades
      @JuanOfAllTrades  Před 8 měsíci

      What? I’m replacing the hardware on the door I’m not a hack. And NO, why cut the expansion after? You are beyond lazy, that is something you take care of during your install. I said do it around halfway during install NOT at the end, please learn to follow directions

    • @JuanOfAllTrades
      @JuanOfAllTrades  Před 7 měsíci +1
