For those of you who didn’t watch the livestream where this clip was taken from: Marc said he heard the lead singer of Jump Little Children singing this with a string quartet and he couldn’t remember ever being moved so much by a performance before.
Adding string orchestra to any musical performance seems to add a bit of magic. There is something hauntingly beautiful about Marc's version here, singing it under a canopy of trees.

@@letiziaworks5841 Yes! Marc's simple acoustic version is enough for me to enjoy it, but I can understand how an orchestral arrangement makes any musical piece sound grand and emotional. I also don't expect that Marc would become emotional over his own cover, but I often do!
This is a great cover. I love Jump, Little Children. They are my favorite band and the original is amazing and y’all should hear it if you haven’t yet.
Brilliant as always, though trying to get the Christmas songs from the Barlow Girls and the Trans- Siberian Orchestra out of & from rolling around in my mind, aside from that, looking forward to the next cover version ☺⛪.
I forgot to mention from my previous message that another cover version that I would like to see and hear, hopefully, "Mad World" from Tears For Fears or "Once In A Lifetime" from Talking Heads, please, thank you & God Bless ☺⛪.
