I disagree with your argument, while I do believe some aspects of the game have become more simulator like, making the claim that Dungeon Quest is pay to win is almost entirely untrue. Events such as the ones we've recently received do not offer any advantages for participating, experience boosts and cosmetics do not in any way make you more powerful. While I do think the events in some way take away from the atmosphere of the game, they aren't very different from the ones we've seen in years past. What I will agree with you on, is the developers consistently shoving lifeless events in our faces, and I completely agree on how it's just a way to milk their player base out of money. Despite this, it is clear Voldex is capable of releasing quality dungeons and updates, equal to if not better than the ones Vcaffy did. I believe the problems you mentioned in this video could very easily become issues later on, and I do think this was thought provoking at the very least. This was a well made video which deserves to be seen.
Thank you for your comment! Undoubtedly, Voldex has given a new "life" to Dungeon Quest, as I mentioned, by raising the player base to something around 10,000 players. Although it may not seem like it in my video, I do express my disappointment when I see that (nearly) every update since the arrival of Voldex has been shops, shops and more shops. (obviously, there was the addition of dungeons in between, but each time it came with a shop). That is one of the biggest reasons DQ was "dying". I certainly did use some big words like it would disappear; however, all I mean to say is that if these shop updates continue, Dungeon Quest's quality as a game on Roblox will fall drastically.

The valentines event is so dry. The coolest cosmetic is behind a leaderboard which is pretty bad. Im level 194 having a terrible time but its still one of the best games ive ever played on roblox
I agree, dungeon quest used to be my favorite game, but with all this gambling and an entirely different ecstatic the game just doesn’t feel how it used to. It’s sad tbh. U earned a sub!

You're right. I used to play dungeon quest from 2019 to 2023 and the dungeon quest we once knew is fading away, The old lobby, the old maps and the simple non-p2w idea has faded away like it did with ZO-samurai ever since Voldex bought it. DQ was a large part of my childhood and its sad to see it fade away, Its honestly sad.
If you guys are in search of a new game to play. I believe “Fabled Legacy” would be enough to satisfy your needs. It’s made by some of the same dungeon quest devs (I believe) and it’s similar to dungeon quest in a good way.
many people mentioned in the Feedback channel that they want the old guis back. instead voldex transforms daily rewards and shop completely. new desert temple also ruins the adventure already. you get that op looking armor already instead of a weak looking one that actually fits that level and keeps your excitement to grind that game to drop stronger looking armor. this game is just giving completely different vibes and energy now than before voldex. You just wont recognize this game anymore soon. everything will just be memories.

The peak of dungeon quest in my opinion was orbital outpost, I feel like everything after vc just went downhill, especially after vcaffy sold his game. and although voldex did bring a lot of critical changes, I just don’t think they are good at interpreting community feedback

honestly, i began playing DQ during early 2019 when kings was the last dungeon. I was a lot younger when I started playing and so it holds a special place in my heart for that reason. After voldex stepped in, though, i felt the game began to be a lot more lifeless. gifting, events, and all this other mumbo jumbo was probably just added to capitalize off of its dedicated playerbase. And while i still associate this nostalgic feeling with dungeon quest, ive almost entirely switched to fabled legacy, a game that has a team of devs that cares about the game, frequent updates, innovative mechanics, all while still holding true to it's inspiration. and while I will miss dungeon quest, i'm also excited to see what this new chapter will bring.

it became too much pay to win as we see in easter event, for what they added potions that lets you revive in hardcore, speedboost, luck boost and hp boost, they should be craftable. If they did really want to add them these potions should be craftable with new items that drops from dungeon.

Vcaffy was maintan the stability on the game and was able to don't sent bugs per update while Voldex perturbated the game and caused many bugs like reroll and the nl glitch leg and ult still not fixed

for me dungeon quest was good until orbital outpost after that it just didnt feel the same to me the mobs the bosses the attacks even the gear everything was just so much simpler back then which was what made the game interested to me
truly being a pay to win how a person who was just in at nm around 4 days ago is now in gs cause of boosts / vip etc
Even though voldex did give new life to dungeon quest, I do think it’s still not dungeon quest. The game had this charm that I loved. Even though the game was extremely grindy and the only way to level up was being carried I still loved it. But now I only visit the game for its daily rewards. Even though there is a lot of content . it’s just cosmetics which I don’t care about.
Dungeon quest is and is not p2w, since u can technically buy anything with rbx since people want cosmetics or robux and will give u the things you need for it, i just commented this because of the comment “thatrobloxnoob” made (I only read the first few sentences and watched 2 seconds of the video lol)

Yeah I don't like the gambling but honestly I'd take that over the sorry state it was in before. barely found any fun in the game after The Canals or Ghastly harbor. It really went down after orbital
The fact that you NEEDED other players to beat later dungeons (for the average player at least) only killed the game faster IMO

Voldex destroyed my favourite game: "Zo" back then, they turned this small community samurai fighting game into a lifeless gambling game
I started playing when Underworld was the highest dungeon, and I missed the old times, I know I am not a complete OG, who was there from the very start, but the og feel has come to a p2w feel. it is annoying seeing shop ads in the game every 2 seconds. While I think that the dungeons, and the odd event here and there where good, the events felt very repetitive. I quit DQ at AT, and grinded to yp and im now level 215, and the new events is killing the game. While the dungeons are funner, and more exciting, it is the only thing I really found outstanding. I hope that Voldex will change the p2w issues, and make it feel OG again. I think the problem is the small UI changes and decorations, like the new join and create dungeon menue and the new daily reward system, it doesn't feel the same

dungeon quest is not "pay to win" not becoming P22. And the only real things i could aee anyone call P2W is VIP and Xtra item, which were added before Vcaffy sold DQ. Voldex has given people free XP boosts in the new events, somethings that old events didnt do, Voldex Stated they will not be turing DQ into a P2W game, and they are keeping that promise. Its just the sudden change to new things just..puts people off gaurd.
Voldex is actually working with Vinny, Vinny is still a Developer, its just he's not the owner anymore, and so far updates are more frequent, and more high quality.
Voldex and Vinny are doing things just Vinny Couldnt do with 1 year.
in total; DQ isnt becoming a P2W Slot machine game and we just have to adapt to these changes voldex is making.
also, Events ALWAYS had an option to buy currencies.

Voldex is the worst Roblox group ever, they have zero talent and just buy other peoples games. They put tons of gamepasses in their games and add cringy cosmetics.
i seriously despise Voldex with a burning passion. never in my life have i been so upset by this horrific company or whatever this hellspawn even is on ruining yet another game, which also used to be one of my favorite games aswell. The uis for the shop and the dungeon selector look as if it was blade ball or whatever now, it's just sad to see such an amazing game go to waste yet again.
now i'm not saying yokai peak isn't good, but it's just simply not the same. Voldex cant recreate stuff like the old DQ because they're too focused on details and not more enjoyment.

i disagree i think voldex has helped the game and the paid to win stuff is not really affecting the game because its just like cosmetics and stuff i am ready for the revamp winter and pirate and boss raids this will help the experience of new players and i love how they design there dungeons i am lvl 222 ik it will take a min for them to release a new dungeon but on the voldex team u got people who played the game senses 2018 or so they care about the game
Thank you for sharing your opinion; it is true that Voldex has brought many valuable updates to Dungeon Quest like Dungeon Retry or Yokai Peak which were essential for the game's survival. What I'm criticizing here is the fact that they take the opportunity to add in gambling, shops and curriences which can be bad for the game. But thank you for sharing your opinion anyway.
@@crazycaptain3475There is no gambling. It is a race. There will be a free leaderboard and a pay leaderboard. Luckily now that Voldex is here, it would take them much quicker to read the community's ideas and apply them to the game. It's not confirmed when, but they had confirmed it was coming very soon.
@@crazycaptain3475 And in the two year prediction, it will obviously change. I see your idea, but change is meant to be. At aquatic temple, enemies would start to look much different. Change is meant to be, and having the same thing for the whole timespan of Dungeon Quest would just make it boring. I personally believe it wouldn't kill the game, but would bring a bigger community and that's how nostalgia is created. That's why they are also making revamps of old dungeons.
if they cared about the game why did they make it look as soulless as humanly possible? I have seriously never seen such a quick fall off in terms of a games appearance before. The new ui not only gives me a migraine but makes it feel like the game thinks im 12 years old. While a lot of dq players are, realistically most of the people filling their pockets are older.

I played dungeon quest when it came out I saw everything being built but i decided to get off the game for a bit and i came back only to see it became a cash grab I have been with dungeon quest since day 1 but i quit because It's dead for me
honestly,, my opinion is that you should move on from this game. The longer the new devs have it, the worse it seems to get, so if we all quit the game they will be out of money and forced to stop. Maybe I am a bit to harsh but it is what I genuinely think should happen.
