Advanced Park Assist

How to use Advanced Park Assist on a Vauxhall Mokka.
I'm not sure about other makes and models, but they
probably work in a very similar way.
One thing I've noticed is that when you're slow driving on the road, hunting for a parallel parking space, you'd normally be indicating and doing 5 mph'ish, but if the car is indicating when it finds a suitable space and tells you to stop, it doesn't continue it's process if at that stage your indicator is on, you have to be NOT indicating when the system is looking for a space, then when you have stopped, at that point it'll ask you to put the indicator on, if it's already on, then the system won't kick in and you'll either have to park it yourself, look for another space and don't indicate until it tells you to, or go round the block, hope the space is still there, and don't indicate this time until it tells you to after you've stopped.
Hopefully this'll get updated, there's regular updates via the Vauxhall app for the car and the satnav, but both are separate.

I wondered why mine wasn't working... i wasn't indicating 😂 1.2 ultimate automatic petrol. Will deffo be trying this out.

Same here, it was my son that pointed out it was telling me to indicate at a certain point ☺ Same car I have 😀

Damn wish i have automatic ultimate. I have only gs manual 😪

@Joka96 I'd be ok with that, the oil pump blew up on mine after 8,000 miles, and I needed a new engine, plus it does have a few othere little niggles, hopefully your mokka is running pain free, so to speak

Do you have to brake as well as accelerate?

Shouldn't need to accelerate unless you're moving out, and then the car gives a beep to tell you to take over. If you're parking, then you can just use the brake as a throttle by easing off it a tad.
