- Woah look it's my gf Taylor! How nice! How to keep your girlfriend warm? Down jackets? Sherpa jackets? Layers? Not sure!
In this video we are looking at my girlfriend Taylor and her winter jacket collection! What you are seeing is basically all the denim jackets, down jackets, and wool jackets that I gave her (besides her thrifted leather jacket). Which ALSO reminds me that most of the jackets here (and our clothes are thrifted) which I think I'll make a video on next. Actually I'm so glad I wrote this description because I just gave myself a video idea. Great job me! So yeah, I typically use eBay and grilled but Taylor really likes dePop and Poshmark. So whatever floats your boat really.

This will be a long comment so, sorry. Started watching your stuff a couple months ago. You’re the only clothing reviewer I’ve seen that understands the importance of proper fitting clothes! I’ve been wearing shrink-to-fit jeans for the past 12 years as well as J. Crew chinos (their now-titled 770 cut) - I don’t understand why more people don’t realize they give themselves a carrot shape either - referencing the video I watched last night. Also, my wife is always cold, only feels content when it’s 95 and humid. I grew up in Northern CT (Go Sox) and love the cooler weather because it’s not humid. But now we live in Raleigh, NC so it works out (a good 4 season state). So happy you and your girlfriend are well, my wife and I will be celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary this summer! If I could pass along some advice, the common sense elements of any good relationship are trust and communication (can’t have one without the other) but also a deep humility of yourself for the other, when you can be sacrificial for each other on top of being completely, fully open with each other, nothing will break your bond. Good luck to you both and thanks for the great content of your channel, everything is top shelf!

I have 2 Canada Goose and a Moose Knuckles and I've never worn more than a t shirt in them. One thing to note is that i tried sizing up on the 3rd parka and while trying it on indoors and comparing it to my others, it wasn't warming up insanely fast like the others. I came to the conclusion that it was too big, too much extra space inside and the down filling was too far from the body. Sent it back, got a size down and all was good!
Laughs in North Dakotan. Come here in Jan and Feb and bring the Arctic explorer jackets! Other than that, great video I had a lot of laughs!

This was adorable. My 70's Baxter State parka is only wool lined, not down, so it's trash in the winter. My wife is from Mass originally and we moved back there six years ago but I only just bought long underwear this winter in an effort to hopefully stave off bad snowstorms. However, they are indeed clutch and I should have gotten them sooner.
They are amazing! And I’ve seen a ton of those wool lined parkas and always wondered why they made them like that, maybe for layering more? But welcome back to MA even though I’m 6 years late!
@@TheIronSnail I think the wool lined ones are mainly for the fall/spring? I’d layer under it and wear it throughout the previous winters to little success though it was still mildly water resistant after all those years. Thanks for the welcome to MA. I love it up here and actually have a friend that lives near the park you guys were filming in. Not to be creepy or anything.

Hey Michael, great video! I love that you narrate and introduce yourself! I can relate to your situation with your chilly girlfriend, my better half runs at a lower temperature too. My sweater supply has dwindled. Keep on creating your content, it's personal, genuine, entertaining, funny, and down to earth. I find your video style is truly a casual vlog style with a purpose of discussing your interests - in particular JACKETS. I collect them too, layering is essential. I look forward to your next video. The Baxter State Park by L.L. Bean is hands-down, the best and warmest jacket but you got a review the newer one, not the old one that your girlfriend has, and they’re very affordable for what they provide in warmth and being waterproof and windproof!

Here's some unsolicited advice from a Norwegian: Her base layer could be improved upon, with the world's best fabric: Wool. One tip is this Norwegian company (we know how the cold works) called Northern Playground. They make garments from this awesome organic wool/silk-blend - really thin and smooth and some great colours. Some of their styles are a bit too technical for my taste (they are made for hiking and cross country skiing), but some looks great. And, how good does a base layer need to look? Also ethical production in Europe. You should look them up! Thanks for the video.

Cool! Another great thing about wool, is that it almost never smells. I use their T-shirts as a base layer almost every day during winter (it was 10ºF in Oslo today...), and I have just two of them. If you're a bit sweaty one day, just air the shirt you wore out, while you wear the other one, and it's good to go. And thin wool breathes when it's warm. I swear, wool is freaking magic.
Wool is one of my all time fav fabrics!! (Next to denim of course)

It doesn't look like a typical American household. More like a European household, I meant Taylor's. Are you sure you two are from the US? I watched a few videos and I got this mixture of European style and Japanese influence. What was your major in college? Is it film studies and advertising. Something related to art as well? I asked because there's something in your vlogs that really stand out. By the way, please review some of Taylor's jeans as well. I have a hard time finding dark denim jeans that fit. Jeans from Levi's don't fit regardless of the price point. Used to purchase from chevignon but they don't have the dark denim right now. I also only wash my jeans once or twice a year. Had no idea there's a name for this habit. What's that called?

Quirky video bro. Lol this is a funny and weird video on jackets. I was watching with both a frown and smile on my face. Sometimes this would alternate. I waited and waited mate. It was slow coming and funny. Taylor needs some wool pants. Get some old Woolrich hunting pants slimmed down. She also needs silk base layers followed by cashmere before the down jacket. She should eat all cooked food and warming spices. Chai tea too.
