do you know why my ad is "running" but i can´t see it moving :/
Please my twitter account is showing Nigeria as country location, but when I try to fill my form and pay for twitter ads, it keeps on showing Canada unchangeabily.

When you create a campaign, select advanced. You don't have that as an option?
@@dekkerfraser I don't have option to select advanced. It just sends me to a screen that says "What's your objective? and gives me 4 options: Reach, Engagements, Website Traffic, Keywords

Sir I am not seeing the Followers option under Advanced campaign. What to do?
In your ad group, scroll down near the bottom. You should see "Follower look-alikes" under "keywords." When you click "additional options," you can target your followers.

Hard disagree about reach vs. conversion goal. I'm interested to see the data you have on that comparison?
Conversion goals are great in certain situations such as selling impulse purchases at $100 when you need to generate cash quickly.
At scale, you have to go for reach to achieve long-term growth. If you want a reference you can look at the research from the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute or the book "RED Marketing" by the CMO of Yum Brands.
Direct-response marketing is very expensive.
@@dekkerfraser In a vacuum you would be correct, but the algorithm when optimized towards conversions also takes into consideration variables that will target people who are closest to making a purchase decision with greater frequency, and in different ways than campaigns optimized for just pure reach. It also probably weeds out a lot of spend that would otherwise be spent on bots or people who will never buy, because they have no history of coming close to a buying action. This is essentially a question of targeting -> Conversion optimized ads target people who will find the ad more relevant and are more likely to take action, whereas reach optimized ads will show it to just about anyone.
@@theseviolentdelightz What you're saying is correct if you're only interested in targeting "in-market" prospects or those who will buy soon. Unfortunately, that's only like 3% of potential buyers.

Screw this channel for promoting ads. They get in the way of everything. No one wants to get interrupted to watch the same crappy ads over and over and over again.

By that logic, this video is great because it shows more people how to do ads, so you wont get the same ads over and over but new ones :P
@@Monsteretrope It doesn't work that way. I see the same ads multiple times a day. The last thing we should be doing is promoting ads.
