- This wave grows from a 3ft into a 12ft Barrel the size of a truck. Nic was on vacation in Costa Rica, when suddenly this swell popped up at home, instantly packed the bags and headed to the airport. He could not miss it. This wave doesn’t break that often, but when mother nature aligned there is no better place to be. It was a mission to get back home, but the session worth it for sure!!!

i was crouching like a ball over here for some barrels from that swell and when it leaves our coast it just spins up like crazy and sends you guys bombing 10’ barrels for days, i’m gonna come over there von nic and you better take me to the spots!

The 3ft (or something like that) section of the wave seems to be the very brief shoulder of the right. I was hoping for Desert Pt-like growth. I buy the 'truck' part, nasty wave this one

Hi, I've been following you since last year and everything in your videos has always been spectacular. The sessions are great, the quality is fantastic... this channel is absolutely brilliant and you helped me a lot with the majority of my curiosities about the world of surfing, thank you so much. Anyway, I would like to make a suggestion (if it's not a problem): I'm convinced that you can add a really funny video on your channel to show some of the funniest things happened while surfing or swimming, it can be something like a "oops and bloopers" compilation. For example, you could make a compilation of all of the moments where you or your friends get "caught" on video while peeing in the water (my uncle relieved himself in a surfing session while he was waiting for a wave and that was hilarious, he always says there are 2 types of surfers and swimmers: those who pee in the water and those who lie), you can also include those moments in the future videos just to keep having a bit of humour on your channel, you can use both old and new clips what do you think? I'd be so so happy to watch it, let me know, bye!

@@katiaricci9296 hey I’m 63 still surfing and when I started in 1968 we always peed in our wet suits still can’t get out the habit. Surfed Portugal in 71 and 79 now surfing it with my son. Love when it works at Espinho. Ohh when you get a chance try Oman, southern end in June july. It’s different and lives op to it’s name. Ohhh man. Oman

Do you guys ever think about the Climat jetting around the globe all the time? Do you compensate your flights?
The flights are coming and going regardless of if they are on them or not, this arguement makes sense for celebrities taking private jets for a weekend in paris not for a few guys flying coach to catch a couple waves. The supply demand microeconomics of massive airlines is not being impacted by quiet literally a handful of surfers who do this.
@@RiamuBerru That’s like saying eating meat (which I do) doesn’t make a difference bc the cow is already dead. Of course it makes a difference. Every single one of us does. If everybody would fly around as much as these guys it would be a catastrophe for the planet.
