Funny I was thinking that exact same thing as I was listening. When are Damon and Harvey coming on. It seems that almost everyone's story comes full circle back to Damon, Harvey, Tank and J. Valentine at some point. Very good Podcast. One of my favorites.
NEVER let this podcast stop. All of the back stories from the artist, producers, writers, promoters, etc. are truly AMAZING! R&B Money is the prototype. 🔥🔥🔥
Artist and managers yall need to answer tank and J call now ! We need to see yall get yall flowers and see them thrive I love the R&B money pod this is my cartoon on the weekend and my 106 and MTV countdown support R&B money!
Man Tip was the first cat that looked out and showed me love like a mf. Bruh when I saw 1500 playing my music in a live show for him , that shit put tears in my eyes. Salute to Mars. I remember the old vid of him and Tip choppin it up about him not getting the recognition he deserved... PS: Yall gotta get the producers to do their top 5 producers
This was a fantastic episode and another reason why this pod is Essential. Learned so much about MyGuyMars that I wouldn’t have known otherwise. Extremely talented and behind some huge hits. Anyone who can handle an organ has my vote and my ear all day long. @R&B Money Podcast, as always, thanks for continuing to do the work 🫶🏾💸🥰
Jay spoke the truth about growing up and watching 106 and Park. And I remembered growing up and watching Saturday, Sooooul Train, and during the week, Arsenio Hall. Thank you, guys, for having this platform for all of us.
I’ve been here since episode #1. This is the biggest part of why I love this Podcast. Y’all highlight the old and new. I have been introduced to the “New” and love the flowers given to the foundation.
We, as a culture don't celebrate our older artists. Everything is a competition b/t old & new instead of a celebration of all. If I see 1 more comment saying so & so has "fallen off", I'm going to go mad. No artist can stay on top 4ever. While an artist is in the twilight of their career, we can still celebrate their classic work w/o tearing them down.
This podcast is always dropping gems. This was very interesting to me. Knowing how songs are produced and who is behind the music makes me appreciate music more. I still blast Take You Down till this day. Definitely one of my go to Chris Brown songs.
It seems the best episodes are of people I've never heard of before. Thank you for the platform and the introduction to the talent behind the scenes. ❤
This was a really brilliant Episode wiith Myguymars. It was full of knowledge experience and Spirituality J and Tank were both asking and giving Q and A during the convo R&B money podcast showing how the Elites produce high value level content that is Important todays world Thank you R&B Money podcast🎉🎉🎉
This…another beautiful episode to get to know an individual behind such music that marks stages and places of life. MY GOODNESS!! 🔥🔥Thank you both for setting the stage and creating the space for those who are R&B and who enjoy R&B to have a place to be, speak and share. Mr. Mars was 💎💎💎. Thank you both!! 🙌🏾❤️🙌🏾
We ❤❤ that J Valentine & Tank making R& B Music together... Glad Tank got his to get back to singing...❤❤❤ Y'all gotta keep going with the podcast and making MORE music
JOE THOMASSS. If you’re the one that’s scared please don’t be scared. Just come on and bless the people with your story 😭😭😭😂😂😂 cause we’ve been asking since this started 🤣
Mars is such a dope producer and human being! Great to see him on this episode. Seeing him play keys in that Dom Kennedy “Deep thought” video is one of my favorite moments of the decade so far
Although I was familiar with 1500 or Nothin, I really discovered Mars from the production he did on Mya's 2018 album, TKO. That album got me through a really nasty and drawn-out divorce process. Thanks My Guy!
Great interview so far, but it is gonna be hard to beat... Different times Tank...... but Same Jesus....... 😅😂😂😂😂😅😅 BTW, A in a perfect world, a person with a gift should never have to work that regular job.
This nigga top 5 got 2 of my top 5!! 😭😭😭 AYOOOO I came here when I found out he produced Take You Down because it’s my all time fav. He calling his top 5 and I’m here like… Lady … then he says mfn LADY!! AYOOOOO 😭 I truly did not know he produced so many of my favs man. I used to shed Stronger as a teen. I have sang Take You Down countless times. Real recognize real. From one PK to another!!! You’ve done great work my bro!
I don't know how often y'all read comments or if you'll even see this. I haven't been a day one supporter, simply because I didn't find out this podcast existed until later on. I have watched every single episode except for one. I haven't met an episode I didn't like. This podcast is beyond necessary. When I found out Tank was attached to it, I was tuning in regardless of what the topic or conversation was. And I'm so glad I did because then I was introduced to J. Valentine. And I've been in love ever since. This show is like uncles at a Barbecue kicking it, vibing, looking back at the memories. It's very homey and it is a safe space. You guys don't focus on drama or negativity. It's about having a good time, bringing the essence of r&b to the forefront, and getting ppl to take a look back at the old school artist as well as tuning in to the new artist coming up. And who better to do it? Not saying there aren't artist that have the history and knowledge and credentials to talk about R&B, but they're not Tank and J. Valentine. And that's what makes this podcast the staple to the culture that it is. You guys are truly amazing, and the work that you're doing is impeccable. I hope it never stops. I hope you never get tired of it. And to those artist who are afraid to come on, I hope they take a look at past episodes and see how comfortable you make your guest feel, and they can overcome that fear of looking crazy and be able to tell their story, that maybe people need to hear. And leave feeling better than ever and knowing they have new fans. So if it's not said enough, thank you two brothers for this. You guys are very important to R&B and to us fans. ❤
Totally different times!!! I got paid $28/ month for playing for Sunday School & had to type up my own program (on a typewriter), make copies, & arrive early to put them out.
Listen I’m going to see boys2men at the met, and I have soul train dvds that I still watch to this day. I genuinely appreciate “old school” music. I tune into this podcast every week to get informed.
Y'all know I'm late to the podcast but guess what? It's never too late to learn. This is the only podcast that I at this age want to watch. It's informing, HAHlarious, and energy filled. PS - can y'all help an oldHER one get the as-free version?? 😂 First thing I'm doing if I come into money, I need a YT lifetime subscription. PS 2 - JV I walked closer to the TV to see the "rock" around your neck. The Crystal was Crystallin'!! 😆
For the 100th show they should do a small concert with their old guests. That would be dope!
That's a great idea 👏🏾
That's an AMAZING idea!! Why doesn't this have more likes?
Yh that's alot of RnB money needed for that one 😅.
This show has and will keep R&B music relevant
“Different time, same Jesus” catch that word. C’mon preach!!!
I’m curious, when will Damon, Harvey, or Joe come on the podcast?
Damon and Harvey have already been on
😂😂😂😂
@@blackreign92Not true. Neither Harvey nor Damon have been on the podcast.

Adding Top 5 Producers is a great idea.
Agreed. I think top 5 R and b albums would be another fire addition
Great interview. This podcast gives so many golden nuggets in each interview.
I always had respect for T.I. since “I’m Serious”. But, that man is about that business! He pulls the trigger!
That's wassup! ❤

This guy is special! His level of humility is refreshing. Forget that he’s genius level good; he gets life…
I had never heard of him before today but I enjoyed listening to his journey in this music game.

"Take You Down" is my SONG!! I can't believe that break b4 the 1st verse is a mistake; I love that break.
This ninja robs banks and plays the organ🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I swear I love these 2 lol.
Every time Tank does the intro for " Top 5" he kills it and cracks me up at the same damn time!😂
