No other games allow controller players to use double binds for something cos it’s not really possible, though many other games allow kbm players to use double bind cos it’s very easy so it’s not just because epic hates controller players.
And we now can’t hold walls as fluent as controlla players what’s next remove jumping and sliding mechanics for us or is just remove aim assist, this is the exact reason that I stopped playing day after day, I love the game but it’s just getting to hard for controller players and it’s to late to switch to kbNm as players would be soooooo far ahead of your skill level! Lmk if I’m right or wrong?

@@lxquidalpha1502it Could be possibble but it wouldnt make sense/it would require more buttons and on controllers almost every single button is used exept the Console's Home button/Logo button and share features
Most people dont use the Dpad's all buttons so i slapped my edit button there as i didnt and still dont use the Squad comms button
But now that Augments are here then now i cant change the emote wheel button which Could have been a udeful button but epic games's controller support 🥲👍
Been doing this for years and now Aussie just show this for everyone 🥺

All you need on controller is paddles and you can have a paddle and a button for your builds
That’s not really the same tho; on PC there’s two separate binds you can pick for a wall. While on controller, you can only bind a wall to one input. With paddles, what they do is just simulate a button that you already have, there is no double wall bind you can choose; paddles aren’t a separate button.

you can have double bind with steam it takes a bit of messing around but it works

its not a secret. its a thing for over two years now. but didn't know it helps for taking or holding walls. helps definitely for turbo building after you confirm an edit with edit on release.
What do you mean it helps with turbo building after an edit?
it applies only for kbm and edit on release: so normally you select edit AND place builds both with left click. so to confirm an edit you have to release left click but to place the next build you have to click left click again. so with a second place build bind (or just a different bind than select edit, for example right click) you can hold it the whole edit and build sequence so you have less delay with building after confirming an edit. you understand?

exactly! but the difference is pretty small so I don't think its worth the time to change your binds. At least for me thats the case. I rather use my time for getting better at fighting and overall understanding of the game

@@professorjames317 this game to be honest supports keyboard and mouse more as I see way more pro players come from that platform than console. It's not that easy to make small adjustments with your thumb compared to your arm in all honesty

Keyboard and mouse players have so many advantages that they can keep secrets. Any slight adjustment or advantage for controller gets posted complain about and finally buffed and taken away from us. But epic doesn't allow pay to win advantage. Lol

Im on console i already have enough input delay. I play on half the frames as you kbm players and have 3times the amount of earnings . Im just over 5k earned. How much do you have sir ? Just because I choose not to be public don't mean i can't roll half the people that you watch if i haven't already lol . I miss old aim assist as it was atleast playable against pc players
Ofcourse it was Some what op but comparing it to nowdays aiming ( after zero builds peoples aims have increased alot ) but now pc players can Over aim us? And then the aim assist isnt even as useful as you would think

( hard to explain ) but If you have a Asaault rifle and there is a player running around you the the aimassist can ztick to him but because the response time is so god damn Shitty it makes it that it tracks the hitbox After the player was there which makes Aimassist on older gen consoles So Trash
I cant even manually aim Out of the assist unless i equip a gu that doesnt have aim assist
