Pixel 4XL only an hour or so less battery than the Champion Samsung and Apple devices is not bad at all for all the negative feedback it gets for its critically acclaimed poor battery life. Plus with brightness turned up the 90hrtz was in play. Am I wrong?

@@evil7260 I do occanionaly need the full brightness, for example when flying my drone in full sun... Don´t judge for everbody just because you don´t need it. Love my s10´s really high brightness
well even turning up brightness all the way each phone has a different top volume right?...so it might be a little unfair them not being the exact same brightness. Great video either way.
You are right, how he tested it makes literally now sense at all. You can't really make a choice here on which phone has 'better' battery life. You should go watch phone buff for that.

Noelle Flores it would have won, there isn't any battery test on CZcams which iPhone 11 Pro Max haven't won. No matter how you test it always wins, new iPhones have extremely good battery life, Apple new chip is very power efficient
3:04 is when your winner should've been disqualified everything else was playing but it needed to be messed with for a good amount of time considering the timelapse

You must have gotten a used/damaged iPhone cause mine lasts 13 hours it was at 71% and I fell asleep with it on and when I woke up it was at 19%

I swear the iphones display toned down a bit automatically - I think there should be an option in the settings to turn it off for a more fair battery drain test. As well as that, the note 10+ has a higher number of pixels and screen size but the battery size isn't so much bigger tbf. Even without the optimization, it would be safe to say that apple has played a good amount of catch up on the iphone 11 series so good job apple 👍👌

It's not software optimization. From a hardware perspective the Note 10+ has to push 1.3 million more pixels than the iPhone 11 pro max. That and the bigger display are the main reasos why it drains faster despite having more battery
I personally think that this test was unfair. Although all the phones are at their max peak brightness, different phones have different nits of brightness. You should've used that device that measures brightness.
I’m just sad that the Pixel 4xl has such low brightness :/ I really want to buy that phone but I think I’m gonna go with the S10+ instead

As a Samsung fan and owning a handful of Samsung phones in my life, kudos to the 11 pro max for having the longest battery life. Very impressive.

How is this a fair test when the max brightness nits are diff on each phone? Next time get a nits measurer and calibrate each to like 300 nits.
Normally with normal use it wouldn’t be the same brightness for all phones, like having 90 hz refresh rate on the oneplus phones is definitely a battery drain, more than the other phones, but at the same time people would normally use it at 90 hz and not 60 like the other phones would be
Sky Raven yes you also have to consider the refresh rate which is normally the same. I’m just wondering if brightness would play a factor in battery drain, since some phones have a higher max brightness and in this video all the phones were set to their max brightnesses

@@notomnithegodking The Xs and Xs Max have an OLED display with uses more battery than a normal LCD display. So the brightness does matter in batter life.

You should of checked the nits to be equal because some phones have higher nits that will drain the battery faster and make the wallpapers the same because of the oled panels

The phone itself lowers the brightness automatically to accommodate for overheating and low battery, you can't really control that constantly

Mrcrolo it doesn’t matter if he has auto brightness on or off, brightness will still be force adjusted if the device is overheating or battery is depleting at a substantial rate

iphone has peak brightness of 1000 nits where as not specified for pixel and one plus
Iphone 11 pro has a 1200 nits peak brightness so anyways it was still brighter than the other phones

Even though the iPhone 11 pro max won fair and square it doesn't mean the iPhone 11 pro max is better in terms of battery. When comparing how long it takes the iPhone's to charge to the Samsung's it would make sense that you will get a little long of a charge.

Dark mode drains less battery some of these devices are set to dark mode. It's not really a fair comparison.

11 pro max battery is insane. Finally something good from apple.
iPhone’s 11 is also amazing, dunno what they did but on WiFi at home I get more than 5h sot for 50% battery, haven’t tested thoroughly but the most I got was 8h sot with 23% battery remaining.
