Great ideas but how scary ...i don't want to even imagine anything going wrong inside the tunnel while being inside ...it reminds me of the movie Daylight!

I just drove thru the Lincoln tunnel. tunnels aren't good for those with claustrophobia. I don't have that

The idea of a tunnel is good and cosmopolitan, which I find terrible is that paredon (wall) at the entrance, they can make an entry with a design thought and current

there will be a staff of mechanics and support vehicles on duty 24/7. and "waste of money"??? say that to the 600 people that have jobs and can feed their families while this is being built, or the 100,000+ jobs that will be created when this project is done. i sould know i work there. stop looking at the world from a computer screen, you might break a nail. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK (OR TYPE)!!!!!!!!

@MELISSA84008 left to folks like Melissa we would not have bothered to make use of inventing FIRE because we might just burn our fingers. Not worried I am sure there is some reason God made pessimists too.

This place has a FOOL--For its dir. now, and this so-called Tunnel is so stupid and idiotic it should never have cost 1--Billion dollars to do!! Just and observation from someone that spent over 28+ yrs. over at that hell hole!!
