@@physicscal2142 Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was on the right side of the History, he did what any liberator would've done, taking sides with Germany and Japan was nothing wrong after all that time his ultimate goal was to liberate India from the occupiers. Netaji just applied common sense, 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend.'
After all the only difference between Axis and Allies was that Allies won, what Hitler/NAZIs did to Jews, Churchill/Britishers/Europeans did the same and to a greater extinct to us Indians, Africans, Native Australians, and Native Americans.

@@NativeVsColonial I don't know what kind of content is being taught in Indian history books, but INA was not an army of liberation, it was very small part of Japanese army literally invading india. They just put in 4 division of Indian troops known as INA to just look good on paper like it was war of liberation. Ironically they did same thing in China ,fighting whole war on name of exiled prince puyi, and controlled entire china, after making him puppet head, they repeated same pattern in Indonesia and other asian countries by invading them and then justifying it as liberation by making some local nobody as puppet figure head. Now Google search map of Japanese empire, see it ended right on border of Indian peninsula that British occupied. hence it's obvious india was just their next target and they invaded it to occupy it, not to liberate it, just like they did to every country before it. In fact ironically INA was not even supposed to be a combative division,it was just supposed to do some spy work and propoganda, only after Subash requested general sugiyama repeatedly, it was converted in 4 combat division. Not to mention their core subash bridge was under direct control of Japanese headquarter in Burma, to quash any patriotic revolt. what kind of liberation army work like that. However ,I am quite sure INA soldier were brave souls, risking there life in hope for Indian freedom, without knowing ground reality. But Subhash being an highly deplomatic intellectual, i doubt if he did not knew what was going to happen to India even if he win the war, and was made some powerless figure head. I just found it a little bit selfish. Lot of people may argue, what's the difference, if indian occupation shifts from British to Japanese, ooh boy there is huge difference, most of people don't know much of world history, won't find much difference, but trust me Japanese or Soviet were 10 time worse then 20th cen British colonies. On top of it their occupation would have enslaved india for another 400-500 year, boz they were rising emperial power, British on another hand were already on edge, were giving back power in 30-40 years anyway. Knowing all that what subash did was preferring his own personal power play over future of India, tho i understand his own life was at risk after getting too deep into it, considering the fact how Japanese arrested Mohan Singh the real founder of INA, after he asked for autonomy of INA.

When one gain immense knowledge and also got a political mind, we get ppls like netaji.
In today's date, politicians only have book knowledge or have political mind, that's why India is doing good from outside but from inside it's getting worse and worse.
In 21st century, Indian middle class family aren't living, they're suffering.

@@jstevinik3261 Somebody asked Swami Vivekananda, "Swami jee, is blind faith necessary..?
Swami jee said, "yes it is, provided the one you have it on is not blind.."
I am not an expert of history, but when Modi je acknowledged Netaji as the first prime minister of India, I took his words, as the truth. Yes, I am a andhbhakt..
With all due respect, I know, there are these few discussions which can not be resolved through opinions, but somehow I too feel Netaji had what it takes to be a leader, someone who walks his talk..
As far as Japanese are concerned, I don't know about there full intentions, but I respect there hard work, especially the way they bounced back as a strong nation, after suffering the atomic attacks..
Anyways, I hope you too are having a great day..
