How did you set the terrarium up? What kind of dirt it is. I would also like to give my hamster dirt to dig in but I am worried about mold and bugs from natural dirt and gardening dirt I could buy has chemical fertiliser in it :(
It's mostly play sand (sand box sand) with so me potting soil with out any fertilizer added....if your worried about bugs bake the sand and soil to kill off any that might be already there...... any hamster food you buy from a store.... store it in a freezer for a least a week before added seeds to the tank. If a bug outbreak occurs.... your gonna have to bake that soil again
