You did a nice job on your DIYs, Christina ❤ I would like to add, using Gesso first before painting the gingerbread houses. It will prep for better paint coverage. Those ball ornaments turned out great. Everybody went for that faux velvet effect, diy this year, but I do like your added touch with metallics. Again, nice job on all!
Hi Gina, could you use Modpodge( idk if Matte, shiny, dishwasher safe or glossy Modpodge u would use? It's worth the ask) In place of Gesso? Or a paint primer?

Just a quick reminder to keep any ornaments that you've added cocoa powder to away from pets (especially dogs) as cocoa is deadly to them. Admittedly the amount left on the ornaments will be very small, but still probably not worth the risk as some dogs will hunt out something that smells (to them!) of food and will try eating them. (Yes, some pets are definitely more sensible than others!) The end result looked very pretty though 😊
