    This video is a short video diary I made planting a living willow play tunnel.
    I revisit the site 3 years later to see how the living willow structure has grown.
    The willow cuttings where planted in shallow soil.The video demonstrates how living willow structures can be grown in a confined space, with some simple planning.

    Thanks for this I just planted one and I am eagerly awaiting the first green shoots or leaves.. but looking at your first year, my hopes were up too high.

      It does take a while, depending on the ground and the willow type.

    I love this! Before you inserted the willow starts in the ground, your assist was cutting an inch or two off the ends. Was this to stimulate growth once they are planted? Thank you!

    The children will b teenagers by the time this gets fully grown..
