HOW TO INSTALL TF2 CLASSIC IN 2024

There's already a couple videos out there but this is with the new downloader window! Hope it helps you guys out and if you have any questions let me know and I'll try to help out as much as possible. Make sure to download the SDK to the same drive that you have steam on.

my tf2 classic failed to load because of an error it said "cant open scripts/objects.txt for object info" what should i do?

How do I uninstall the game?
If you delete the folder you downloading in it should remove it but also if you run the tf2classic downloader you can run it to verify the game files and/or reinstall it which might work better
Edit: Make sure to restart steam after removing the tf2 classic folder if your going that route
You just going to source mods and just delete the file
Everytime i open the game it loads but than closes itself.
How do i fix this?
Did you make sure the file is in the correct folder. It may of missed a file when it was downloading. Id try deleting the folder and redownload it again
@@0influence I'll come back when I do that see if it works. The file is in source mods but when I open the game it closes immediately after the tf2c logo pops up

I don’t think so you have to have the SDK
Does it support controllers?
I’ve heard it does but it’s turned off by default. I’ve never tried so I can’t say for sure
