it would be cool if the room slowly filled with water
That’s an odd fetish
Instead of the space helmet filling up with water, it's like a sinking ship.
@@franklinlewis1097 The music video for the original song...
I don't know what to call this channel anymore... well that’s news to me, thanks for letting me know!
The strokes- you only live once?
Radiohead did an amazing cover of this true 30's classic!!!!
😂😂😂
Sorry but your joking right? 😂😂😳
@@AngelGonzalez-cw5jr yup
Who knew it was 30’s original 😂😂😂😂
@@AngelGonzalez-cw5jr really dude?
I can imagine this being played on a mono-quality radio on the next Fallout game
Or Bioshock.
lame ass gamers
just mod it in then
@@unclechaos27 Boy, fuck off and let people live.
@uncle chaos for real. These people have no imagination or articulation. video games are the only way they know how to relate/compare to or describe things. Its sad.
That clarinet solo alone is worth the price of admission! Congrats!
I was just about to coment that 😃✌️👍
Yeah
Read this just as she started shredding
So it’s worth nothing then?
agreed!!!!
Could honestly hear this crackling out of a radio during the Depression.
Josh Weiss Radiohead are good during the depression
there exists a version like this if you can find it!
Josh Weiss same!
I could hear this crackling out of a radio head during the depression 😜
nice
The clarinetist/singer is phenomenal. Her solo is so fluid and her voice is spot on for this rendition. Absolutely charming presence to boot. Let's see more of her, please!
Jeff White thank you very much!
Chloe is an Amazing artist! She has been for over a decade, (hard to believe, right?), you should see some of her other incredible videos.
...she's a Rhode Islander :-)
Easy, easy .. please
To say she plays better than Woody Allen or Alan Greenspan would be to trivialize her skills
the "this is my final fit, bellyache etc" the instrumental arrangement was perfect, really loose and ready to fall apart but just hanging on the edge, fantastic
In alternate universe, this was played right before Titanic sunk into the deep ocean
Has anyone ever said "bring down the government" in such a chill way?
Thom Yorke?
Amund Mælan k kinda tru
Ron Paul
I loved that part
Thomas Jefferson
The clarinet solo was perfection
Thank you!
Needed a live audience for applause. That's the only thing missing here.
No? No what?
At a typical jazz gig the audience would applaud or cheer after a solo. This solo deserves a very big cheer. That was my only suggestion. Nothing 'silly' about that, Viktor.
That clarinet was on fire, spot on, note for note.
The sound of 30's jazz band surprisingly matches the dark theme of this song.
Actually the way great depression hit hard after world war 1, political instability etc. So this song perfectly match for that situations.
The dislikes are from the people who really like alarm and surprise.
People who like vocals in key
@@stalwartzero7001lmaoo
@@Anony1548 I feel bad but it’s also true so… 😂. I’m sure they’d sound great with a vocal monitor and trying less. It takes me some time w certain songs to do well without monitoring.
@@stalwartzero7001what's a vocal monitor? is it used for pitch correction? or detection? or something else entirely lol
@@Anony1548 it could be many things but in this case would be an in ear headphone so you can hear your voice along side the instruments and hear that little bit of off in your pitch so you can sweep up/down to where you need to be. In live gigs of lower budget/production bands it’s usually a small speaker on the floor but again so you can hear your voice
The way the she enunciates some the lyrics give her that 1930's charm to compliment her charismatic and cutesy appearance
This transports me to a grey aircraft, flying over a grey Atlantic, searching for grey submarines, sometime in 1942. The aircraft’s radio operator picks up this song from a far away radio station and transmits it over the crew’s headphones, and it makes the long flight a bit more bearable.
1942?
@@silvermediastudio Well yeah, an alternative 1942 where this song existed obviously!
@@Jimdixon1953 I'm just not sure whose aircraft would be over the Atlantic searching for submarines in 1942. Perhaps the British, but they were mostly focused east.
@@silvermediastudioThe Short Sunderland probably, although that was more white than gray

Lets take a moment to appreciate that pianist! He was amazing.
That's the postmodern jukebox good,Scott bradlee! He's the founder and arranger of all these amazing covers!
They are all amazing guys.
I love Heisenberg in the background jamming out to the amazing clarinet.
I've never heard such a glamorous ""No Surprises""!
From this performance, I feel that the message "Life is both sour and sweet, but let's enjoy it."
No surprises? Her voice took me by surprise, was not expecting such a soothing voice 🎶
spot on performance, but can we talk about how great that room is. that's a really nice room
And can I just sit and read a book in a corner there somewhere? 📚

Sock Love true
I want to lie on the floor and feel the bass through the floorboards.
a room straight out of video game resident evil
"No Suprises", this is such a surprise for me! So difference from the original but so good. What about Chloe, what a voice she's got and how well does she play the clarinet!
Well that was a pleasant surprise in my recommendations
But... no surprises!
And no alarms

W W. I don't know, when they do Treefingers vintage rock version, we'll all be happy
W W. I'll take some Fun. covers before I die happy, I really want Carry On or a least We Are Young
Jasmine Huang fun. is whack AF

Too
She plays that clarinet like it is an extension of her own body. Great.
Thank you!
your amazing.
Hi Chloe, just wondering if your solo was like rehearsed at all?
kokaface - The Son Of A Beat. Nope! We did multiple takes but each solo was improvised
awesome
I love Radiohead but fuck me, this is awesome. Not jazzy imo, but bluesy and the girl and her (clarinet?) just nailed it... absolutely awesome guys.. well done
It’s the classic 1930’s style of jazz.
A heart that's full up like a landfill
A job that slowly kills you
Bruises that won't heal
You look so tired, unhappy

I'm simple: I see Radiohead, I click.
Jared Ackles Collins exactly!
Jared Ackles Collins same here
Jared Ackles Collins Yeah 🙋
Jared Ackles Collins even better if its not creep
daniel butler its not that it's bad. Its
But Thom Has written so much better lyrics. Johnny has played the guitar so much better. Its not bad but it shouldn't be considered such a good hit when the band has made so much better.
That clarinet is the best thing.
Thank you!
Chloe Feoranzo
You are amazingly talented. 👌
Mad skills Lady *8 )
She's The Best ❤️
So true

It blows my mind how can she play and sing so well and at the same time dance so arrhythmically?
What a spectacular choice. And that was some hella sick clarinet playing.
Thank you for all the 2016 videos
She's pretty good, but not Squidward level yet.

She's a better clarinet player than a singer. And that's saying a lot, cause she's a damn good singer!
Ryan Nezaj
Well said sir!
Between the clarinet and the piano flourishes the music is incredible, but that vocal delivery. Class and beauty.
She has a fantastic voice.
I love how her outfit and hair look vintage-inspired, bless her.
MORE RADIOHEAD PLEEEEAAASSSEEEE
Holy moly! This Chloe dame is everywhere, plays with everybody you've ever heard of or never heard, always sounds great, and certainly makes me appreciate the clarinet in ways I never did before. And I only just discovered her today! Wow.
I just read your post with a transatlantic accent! Lol

I was using a New Yawk twang... hahaha...
I love it when she plays the lowest notes on that clarinet . The tone is superb
One of the best change-the-genre covers. She did a great job modifying the melody.
She has a wonderful voice and can play the HECK out of the clarinet! Great job. :)
JingHua thank you!
I love her simplicity. It doesn't have anything to hide behind, to draw attention from her voice.
Fact. this is the best song on the net. If anyone disagrees then they are wrong.

jk look at the endcards after the credits, there's an Easter Egg vintage version of the video ;)
I can't seem to find it. I've searched every inch of it and I can't find it.
please link the other version because a pop up in the video hides the easter egg
and u added a clarinet solo? gah dayum this is fire
Stunning. The clarinet solo amazing. Swings along beautifully, love it.
I just saw her perform live in Orlando. I hadn't seen this video so I didn't know what to expect. Cunio had just perfomed Video Killed the Radio Star and I was surprised it wasn't the intermission. I was like "What can follow that?' And then Chole came up and just killed it. Voice filled the room to the rafters and the entire audience was in shock. Absolutely breath taking.
She is so natural and beautiful, I really can't take my eyes off her.
I hope Radiohead has heard this! They would truly be proud I feel :)
Erm. Why? It celebrates pomp and wealth and outdated classicism. Hardly the kind of thing Radiohead support. Also, it's shit.
Tongue in cheek anyone?

Take a bow Chloe! What a talented young lady. One of my favourite songs from my favourite band just took a very unexpected twist. 😲👏🏻
This is my favorite PMJ tune by a long shot. She freakin' slays that clarinet solo.
Thank you!

Wow, just wow, I'm in love.
There is a long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long line ahead of you
Love how understated the vocals and the clarinet solo is. Really captures the essence of the era. The turnarounds on the piano too and gypsy style rhythm on the guitar.
I think I just found my favorite PMJ singer. She's also an incredible clarinet player!
Edison Cummings thank you!
Chloe Feoranzo ... awesome singing and clarinet!!!
Chloe Feoranzo is the bestttttttttttttt
My grandfather was an army veteran, he fought in world war 2, but despite all of that, he was a big music lover, he gave me some records, one of them was this, i never knew i could love the radioheads, RIP grandpa
I’ve seen her play with Pokey Lafarge, but I didn’t know she could sing. My gosh that’s a lot of talent.
She is one of my favorite features, she's just so charming.
I'll put these records on the old gramophone and feel crummy about some dame that gave some honest mug like me the cold shoulder. Really a swingin' tune! Even when I'm not feeling down, I can still jive with the fellas to this.
Someone posted a clip of this on instagram with a filter to make it look old and I genuinely thought for a second that Radiohead covered the song
Nothing like my boy Luca providing the 1, 2, 3, and 4s!

The perfect crossover between my one of my favourite songs and one of my favourite music genres! Thank you ❤
