Out of every golf personality out there, I'd most love to play a round with Adam. Always love your videos, your calm attitude and golf philosophy...plus our distance are similar so your rounds and club selection are quite relevant to my game. Thank you for the chillest golf channel on YT!

Having been a sub since the beginning, that's about as bad a day with the big stick as I've ever seen you have, but you still shot 82. This really is the perfect example of 'Adam golf' - so many of us would have been frustrated by the front 9 and let it dictate the whole round, resulting in a 90, but you stayed positive and finished the last 6 holes like a baus👏

I'm a 7 handicap and it's really interesting to see how you get around the course. We couldn't play more different games. I score with my distance. I think both of us could learn a little from each others game, when I get in trouble I think I need to play a little more like you and just play smart and salvage a score. On the flip side, I think you're hurting yourself laying up to specific numbers. Get it as close as you can, all of the stats support it.

Love those Macan courses. Classic, walkable, fair, scoreable, but punishing if you put the ball in the wrong spot. Best designer in the PNW and it's no contest.
I've played UGC so many times, and watching this video make it clear to me how deficient my short game, and my "keep it in play game" is compared to what I need to be to bring my cap into single digits. Tidy up the short game and stop dumping 1 or 2 drives into the woods per game and I'm right there with you. I guess it's just practice, practice, practice.

Absolutely! I started playing last August and this game is HARD. Any time you don't score level par or under for the day, the course beat you. Keep playing, have fun, and decrease strokes 1 at a time. He'll have to change his CZcams name to "FinallyAScratchGolfer" by this time next year if he keeps at it. Great stuff :)

Hey Adam. I've noticed lately you've been using the 2 tone ball. Try lining up the halves equally on puts. I always use a Sharpie to draw a line on mine to use for putts. While I don't always get the line or speed right, it at least tells me if I'm rolling the ball straight off the putter face and helps with alignment. Might be worth a shot. Great round by the way and the course looked great!

Perfect timing. Had a bad day today. 4 doubles and 1 triple, somehow shot a 87. Combination of mental errors, poor drives. It’s amazing on a bad round, how every bad shot costs you two strokes and in a good round might not even cost you a stroke. Today, every bad shot ended up in bunker, short sided or unmoved rough. @NotAScratchGolfer  Před 2 lety +2

Glad you enjoy 'em, Ryan! And no, I don't count those as putts. When I first started tracking stats, I would count them as putts, and at season's end the stats indicated I was an approach god and a putting disaster, which is the opposite of the truth. So I then started tracking GIRs/putts the same way they do on tour, which yielded a more accurate picture of where I gain/lose strokes.

You just played a 270-yard shot, if you're not going to reach it play to 170 or 160 and have 100-yard wedge in from the fairway. Play smarter golf, stop with the hero shots.
