It was definitely years. Why on earth (no pun intended) would the earth's environmental conditions atrophe to the point of being nothing but a barren desert wasteland with nothing but scattered Skaianet ruins in the entire expanse of the planet in less than two years.
There never would have been a Reckoning, anyway- theirs is a void session, which means the kings would be locked in a stalemate forever and Skaia would not evolve. Even with the Beta kids arriving, it won't happen because Jack Noir started theirs too early.
For those arguing below, I would note that in the Scratched universe, the time at which the Exiles would have arrived is destroyed by the Red Miles tearing apart Billious Slick. And even then, in a void session, the reckoning never happened, making any real exiling moot as most meteors arrived on earth due to some really weird plot shit.
Funfact: Another Jungle is a remix of Another Medium, the Undertale song. The name Another Medium is likely a reference to the Medium in Homestuck. The song also plays in Hotland, which has very clear inspiration from the Land of Heat and Clockwork. In addition Another Medium was originally written as an unused remix of Doctor by Toby, called Patient. It all comes around.
